I calmly said as a sharp pain shot up my spine. “Yep, that definitely is the twins.” Crocell said before color drained from his face as he passed out. “You useless son of a bitch!” ---- It was early august when we first heard the precious cries of our children after a full 12 hours labor. Xavier, which means bright and new beginning was definitely Crocell’s carbon copy. He had this white hair, proud nose, a thin cupid bow lip and captivating periwinkle colored eyes. Ciaran, which means darkness, is the smaller twin and although they are identical, Ciaran had softer features including his long lashes, curly fluffy black hair and grey—almost silver eyes.

“I don’t understand.” Sebastian’s smile widened. “Of course you don’t.” He slowly reached into his jacket. Removing another document. Old. Folded. Weathered by time. “The birth records.” Victor’s face drained of color. “No…” Sebastian unfolded the paper. “Your parents had twins.” Aurora’s breathing stopped. Twins? Sebastian continued. “A boy…” He glanced toward the photograph. “…and a girl.” Aurora’s knees weakened. “That’s impossible.”

Shelly’s POV “Doctor Grey, can you tell us the gender of our babies, please?” I inquire anxiously, clutching Sebastian's hand with a mixture of excitement and nervous anticipation. Doctor Grey glances at the monitor, her expression soft and full of warmth. “It’s no problem, Shelly. As far as I can tell, you and Sebastian are expecting identical twin boys,” she announces with a radiant smile. The joy overcomes me instantly, and tears of happiness well up in my eyes, spilling over my cheeks. I’ve always dreamed of having a boy first, and now, in this miraculous twist of fate, we’re blessed with two boys at once!

He said kissing my both hands simultaneously. “What do you mean…gone?” I asked confused. “It means I am gonna be an aunt soon and your mum is gonna be a grandma soon too silly…oh I can’t wait to hold their little arms and legs in my hands once they arrive.” My cousin katie squeaked excitedly. “Really? And why is she referring to our unborn baby as if it’s gonna be a pair.” I asked Sebastian, we both had happy tears in our eyes as we chuckled together. “That is because it’s gonna be a twin my love. We are gonna be parents to two babiess, isn’t that mind-blowing?”

Aria whispered, placing her hand on the bump. May nodded, smiling. “Yes, the baby just kicked! That’s their way of saying hello.” Aiden’s face lit up. “Really? Can I feel it too?” Carefully, May moved his hand over her belly. A faint but distinct thump pressed against his palm. Aiden’s eyes widened in amazement. “Wow! The baby is talking to me!” Aria leaned closer, her voice soft and full of wonder. “Hi, baby! I’m your big sister! I can’t wait to play with you!”

A gentle voice echoed from the sky: "Twins, born of unique bond and love, one destined to change the world." The trio awoke simultaneously, morning light streaming through the gaps in the curtains. Their eyes locked, each reflecting the profound impact of the dream. The joy and wonder in their gazes were palpable. The room was abuzz with excitement and speculation. "What if," Mateo hesitated, his voice thick with emotion, "one of the twins is mine, and the other Archer's?" The notion, though unprovable due to their identical DNA, was tantalizing.

Kayla and Karen are identical twins born to a fisherman. They all lived in a small fishing village in the southern region of Norian. “The prophecy says that you will be mated into a powerful quint bond.” I blink at her. A what? “What?” “A quint bond,” she repeats patiently. “Usually, multiple mate bonds are formed when siblings, such as twins or triplets, bond with the same mate. This happens because twins and triplets are formed from the same egg and therefore share a soul.” Yeah, I’ve heard of that before. It happens. It’s not very common, but I know about it. Not that I’ve ever given it much thought—the idea of sharing a mate with a sibling has always felt weird to me.
