I looked at Xander, he was quiet, “if the person that has been sending those threats is here in this company, then they'll likely send more threats so I can leave the company.”

“What if it moves from just threats to attacks? Your life would be in danger, I'm worried about that.” Xander looked at me concerned.

“should I stay living in fear then? Or wait till you lose all you've worked for?” I'm fine babe, I'm stronger than you think.” I smiled, I loved the protective part of Xander

“Let's get you settled in,” Xander said smiling, he made sure my office was situated close to his.

The next day, I resumed fully

“Morning, Mrs. Kendricks!” someone said brightly in the elevator.

I nodded, I was already getting used to people calling me that. I hadn't seen Xander before he left, he dropped a note that he had to finish something up in his office.

I decided to stop by his office first to give him breakfast, I pushed the door open.

He looked up from the file, and smiled at me. His eyes roaming my body, he looked into my eye and licked his lips.

I stopped, totally forgetting why I was here. Why did he have to do that?

In between my legs tightened, I took a deep breath and returned the smile. “You missed breakfast.” I said raising the food I brought up.

He motioned for me to come, I walked to his desk. He stood up and pulled me in for a hug.

“You look so damn sexy, love.” Xander breathed in my hair.

I dropped the food I was carrying on the table and hugged him back. He bent down and kissed me, gently at first, but it quickly became demanding.

I kissed him back with the same energy, his tongue slipped into my mouth as we kissed.

One of his hands went into my clothes, teasing my nipples. He brought his mouth down and bit my nipples from the fabric of my cloth, I moaned as he squeezed my breast, pinching my nipples slightly.

I felt the wetness gathering in between my legs, just then, we heard a knock on the door.

I pushed him back and adjusted my cloth, giving him distance.

At this point, Xander was laughing so hard, I couldn't help myself, I joined him too.

“I'll see you later babe.” I leaned in for a quick kiss and walked out, “Morning Mrs Kendricks,” his secretary greeted.

I smiled at her and walked towards my office

I got to my desk, placed my bag down, and flipped open my laptop. A yellow sticky note was stuck right to the edge of the keyboard.

“You should leave before someone makes you.”

I stared at it. My fingers froze over the keys. I smiled slightly, it was happening exactly how we planned it.

I looked around, but there was no one around, I peeled the note off and slipped it into my folder.

I worked for a while, the thought of Xander and our unfinished business was still stuck in my head.

I decided to go to the bathroom to clear my thoughts a bit. In the women’s bathroom I found another note taped to the mirror, right above the sink.

“You'll regret coming back here. The company isn't worth your life, Neither is he.”

I ripped it down so fast I almost tore the mirror off with it. The handwriting was the same, I looked around to make sure no other person had seen it.

I left the bathroom without saying a word. Back at my desk, I focused on finishing the draft presentation I was working on with Lillian. But I couldn’t concentrate. I kept glancing over my shoulder. Every passing face felt suspicious.

After I finished up with what I was doing, I went to Xander's office.

He was working on his desk, with his jacket off, shirt sleeves rolled up. He looked a little bit tired, but he still looked hot.

Focus Kia, this isn't why you came here. I said to myself.

“Someone left me a note,” I said quietly, placing both of them on his desk.

He looked at them for a second, eyes narrowing. Then he looked at me. “When?”

“Today, first on my desk, then in the bathroom.”

He stood up, jaw clenching. “Are you okay?”

"yes, I am even more than okay, I was worried we wouldn't be able to find the person, but with the way they are progressing,  I'm sure whoever it is would make a mistake soon.”

Xander didn't look convinced, “babe, trust me, I'll be fine. First let's wait a bit before reporting to the board.”

He nodded, “just wait for few minutes, let me finish this so we can head home. Today has been very stressful.”

I smiled and sat down, waiting for my husband to finish his work.

  • Double the sin   Car Accident

I didn't pay much attention to what Tom said about Jax. The next day, I left the office earlier than usual for my prenatal appointment. I didn't go with a driver since the hospital was close to the office. The checkup went fine, normal heartbeat, normal measurements. The doctor told me everything was progressing well and that the baby was healthy. While coming out of the hospital I suddenly remembered Tom, and I suddenly felt very uneasy. I blamed it on yesterday.Seeing Tom again, hearing Jax’s name. Being reminded of that twisted obsession I thought I’d left behind. After the appointment, I decided to head straight home. I wanted to lie down, just rest. As I headed out, a nurse called out “Mrs Kendricks,” I turned around. “Would you like me to call you a driver?” I smiled at her. “No, Katherine, I'm good.”“Have a safe trip back home ma'am” she said and turned back towards the hospital's entrance. I needed the air, it somehow felt very comforting and cool. My thoughts had been

  • Double the sin   Jax's obsession

Throughout that day, Xander never left my side, he was always moaning sure I was feeling okay. The office was quieter than usual this morning. Everyone seemed focused, with their heads buried in their screens or walking briskly between departments. I had just returned from a board strategy session and was about to collapse into my chair when my assistant knocked and peeked through the door.“You have a visitor,” she said.I frowned. “Who?”“He didn’t give his name, but he said it’s urgent… and personal.”I rubbed my temples. I wasn’t in the mood for vague surprises. “Where is he?”“In the downstairs lobby. I can ask security to escort him out if you want—”“No,” I said, standing. “It’s fine, I’ll handle it.”I took the elevator down, expecting a client maybe, or one of the journalists who hadn’t gotten enough gossip last month. But the moment the elevator doors slid open, I was greeted with the familiar sight of Tom.He stood off to the side of the marble lobby floor, wearing jeans a

  • Double the sin   I'm going to be a father

When I got home, I didn't find Xander at home. Then a text popped up on my screen “Hey love, I went to the office, I'll be back soon.” I made a U turn and went outside, back to the car.“Take me to the office.” I told the driver. “Are you okay Ma'am?” The driver asked while turning on the car. “Yes I am, just a little bit tired.” I said placing my head on the window of the car. XANDER'S POV I was going through spread sheets in my office when I heard Kaia’s voice outside. She was talking to someone outside the door, I smiled and continued going through the spread sheets She walked into my office with a smile on her face, and god, that smile was my weakness. “Hey,” I said, setting my pen down. “You okay?”She didn’t answer right away, her fingers toyed with the hem of her blouse, and she avoided my eyes as she closed the door behind her. That was weird, what's going on? I sat up straighter. “Kaia?”She looked at me and gave me a small smile, “I went to the hospital,” she said.M

  • Double the sin   You're pregnant

I was lost in the sensation, in the way he filled me, in the way his hands held me steady as he took what he wanted. His mouth found my neck, his teeth grazing my skin as he whispered words that made me shiver with need. “You like this, don’t you?” he growled. “Being used like this. Being mine.”“Yes,” I gasped, my voice barely audible. “Yours.”The fear of being discovered only added to the intensity, each thrust more urgent, each touch more desperate. I could feel the tension building inside me, a coil tightening, ready to snap. “Xander,” I whimpered, my voice breaking. “I’m close.”“Me too,” he groaned, his pace quickening. “Cum for me, Kaia. Let go.”His words were all I needed. My body shook as I climaxed, my walls clenching around his cock, milking him, drawing out his own release. He followed moments later, his thrusts becoming faster, his grip on my hips bruising as he cummed inside me. For a moment, we stayed like that, his dick still buried in my ass hole.We were both brea

  • Double the sin   in the boardroom?

KAIA'S POV I Hesitated for a moment outside the boardroom, I somehow couldn’t shake the image of him sitting there, with his shoulder slumped forward. Xander wasn’t one to show weakness, but I knew him better than most. He did need someone this period, even if he’d never admit that. Taking a deep breath, I pushed open the door, the room was lit dimly, my eye caught Xander, he was standing by the window. One of his hands was in his pocket as he stood there. I could see the strain in the way he held himself, the way his shoulders seemed to bear the weight of the world.“Xander,” I said softly, my voice cutting through the silence like a whisper in a library. He turned slowly, his eyes meeting mine. For a moment, we just looked at each other, the distance between us feeling like miles. His expression shifted, the mask he wore for the world slipped away, I saw the pain beneath that facade as he looked at me. “Kaia,” he murmured, his voice hoarse like he had been crying. Seeing him li

  • Double the sin   Comfort in her arms

When we entered, Mr Hale was sitting at the end of the table like it was any other meeting. There was this calm and collected look that he was giving, it made me feel very irritated. Immediately we entered inside, Xander approached him and said. “Tell me this is a mistake.”Mr Hale didn’t blink, he just looked at Xander with contempt. “It’s not.”I felt something snap inside me. “Why? Why would you do this?”“Because he shouldn't get everything,” Mr Hale said, motioning to Xander. “The company, the influence. The board’s loyalty. I built this empire with him, from scratch. Why should he be the only one getting all the recognition?”“Hale, how can you talk like that, you knew. What we went through together. Even when I wasn’t ready,” Xander said, voice rising. “You helped me. You said you supported me—”“exactly, what did I get in return after all that?,” Mr Hale cut in“You're the chairman of the board of directors, Hale.” Xander looked pained, it was almost as if he was fighting ba
