CHAPTER 59
Jaida smiled as she saw couples walking down the streets, some pausing under the mistletoe hung in stores just for an excuse to publicly display their affections. So far she had managed to avoid all of the holly like hangings. She figured that Arius didn't know what they were, therefore he had no reason to avoid them, so she was watching out for the both of them. She didn't want to get caught under it with anyone. Her father seemed to purposely try to get her under one, trying to get her to stand with Arius, but she was smarter than that. Her father wasn't going to get the best of her. As soon as she was home, she wouldn't have to worry about it. Until then, she had to make sure that she wasn't caught under any with Arius. Any other girl would probably try to, but she knew better than that.

"Merry Christmas!" Jaida shouted as she ran into Arius' room. She went to his window and threw open the shades, letting the light spread onto the dark walls. Jaida walked up to Arius and threw an arm around his waist, her snow globe in the other. She did her best to give him a hug in thanks for her present. Arius suddenly froze up, a soft chill tickling his spine. This was getting to be annoying. Why did Lucius always have to come at such horrible times? This time the sensation wasn't disappearing.
