CHAPTER SEVEN
Dear readers, this is my second book on this platform and I must say I am grateful to be a writer on this platform but unfortunately I am not very confident in my writing nowadays. I request that for everyone who has gotten this far in my book should please review and rate this book and tell me your honest opinion. The days I spent in my father's house was thirty days and I was grateful I did. The household was secretly in a mess that I had to put everything to order especially with father.
Father didn't want me gone but he had no choice because I was no longer his, I was another man's wife to be but at least he was better. He was sane and much more than the day I had arrived and more ready to help me the problem was...I had deceived father.

Everything was going wrong. Nothing seemed to be going right at all but I wasn't worried. Today was the day I would wed August. Everything was finally falling into place, I was going to have the life I deserved and no one could stop me not even myself.I smiled weakly as I stared into the mirror that reflected my pretty face. Do not fret, her blood type resists the ghost eye poison. He just needs a lot of rest." The doctor informed us."Can we see her?" August asked."Well she is your wife so I grant only you permission. Waking up with August by my side was an affair I looked up to every morning. Marriage was a wonderful thing once the partners started to see the arrangement outside a prison. I wanted to see Arthur, I wanted to know if he was alright but he was under house arrest and the only time we saw was for meals and when they are escorting him.Luckily Alexander and I has been buying time for the case since the evidence to convict Arthur is small but solid.Apparently Arthur had slept with the whore who had his father killed a night before his father’s death. His alibi wasn’t strong enough with barely witnesses or anyone bold enough to defend him.They also claim that they found the prostitute but she had killed herself before they could locate her with nothing but a half written to Arthur saying she did it for him.It was a tough nut to crack especially since Arthur had slept with her. I was infuriated with the idea but his punishment for that can come after we have dealt with the bigger picture…finding a new scapegoat.
