IVONNE'S POV

I stayed in the bathroom for a good ten minutes after I was sure Hector had left the room.

Not because I needed that long to change my outfit or fix my hair—no.

I was hiding from Hector.

Or rather… recovering from his growing effects on my senses.

The moment I sensed he’d walked out and the hallway door closed, I finally exhaled and leaned my back against the cool tiled wall.

Thank the Goddess the mind link was now shut.

Because earlier—when his voice had slipped into my head feeling warm, calm, and deep like it belonged in my bones—I’d nearly lost my balance. Literally.

My knees had gone soft like I was a teenager hearing her crush say her name for the first time. And there was a second where I was scared that i might actually moan out loud.

Dear goddess, I would have died from embarrassment if that had ever happened.

But could anyone blame me for reacting like that?

After all, I had never, ever felt anything like that in my life before, and that was because Mos

Ivonne's POV Elara stood behind me, tightening the last clasp of the Lycan dress her mother had gifted me I looked at myself in the mirror and barely recognized the woman staring back. The fabric hugged me in a way that felt… powerful. Not flashy. Not soft. Powerful. Deep midnight blue with silver threading along the edges, the kind of clothes that didn’t beg for attention but commanded it. Elara let out a slow breath. “Wow. I didn't know you had this much beauty In you Ivonne." I smiled at her reflection. “That good, huh?” “That good?” she laughed. “Ivonne, you look like you were born to wear this. You look so Regal. Dangerous. The kind of Luna that makes people rethink their life choices with just one look.” I snorted. “You’re exaggerating.” “I am absolutely not,” she said, circling me. “If the court sees you like this, half of them will intentionally forget what they were angry about because only a fool will want to mess with you in this.” I chuckled… then suddenly my sm

Ivonne's POV The moment Hector finished reading the note for the second time, his jaw tightened.I barely had time to process what he’d said before he ripped the paper in half."Hector! What are you doing?"He ripped it again, Straight down the middle. Then again And again while I gaped at him“Absolutely not,” he snapped. “He’s not coming.”I stared at the pieces falling from his hand like dead leaves. “Hector—”“I’m serious, Ivonne. I’m not giving Justin permission to step into this realm.”My heart skipped. “Wait—what? You can’t just—”“Yes, I can,” he said sharply. “And I just did.”I pushed myself up on the bed. “That’s not fair. You didn’t even let me—”“He doesn’t need to be here,” Hector cut in. “Whatever excuse he’s using, it’s just that — an excuse. He wants to see you.”I blinked. “What?”Hector scoffed. “Don’t act surprised. You know how he is only doing this to see you again.”“That’s not true,” I said quickly. “We’re working together on my company goals. He’s helping me

Thank you for reading Ivonne's POV I woke up deliciously warm. And Not just the normal kind of warm from your blankets— it was the kind that comes from being wrapped in someone’s arms, chest to back, heartbeat steady against my shoulder like it had decided to guard me through the night. For a second, I stayed still, enjoying the feeling. Then I shifted slightly but paused when I felt something poking me. I frowned in confusion for a second but then I paused when I realized what it was.It was Hector's.... Oh... Oh. I froze. Hector was… very clearly awake in a way I hadn't expected My face heated instantly. I should pull away, I thought. I should move. But… I didn’t. And what shocked me even more? I didn’t dislike it. Actually… I kind of liked it. A lot. It hit me all at once how

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Ultimatum

Ivonne's POV After my declaration, I folded my arms and leaned back against the long table in the library, staring straight at Elara as she shook her head at me like I’d just said the most ridiculous thing in the world.“I love what you said but I have to tell you thT You’re dreaming, Ivonne,” she said with a short laugh. “It’s a fantasy to think we can change traditions that have survived for centuries. You can’t just wake up one day and decide to rewrite the laws of the Lycan world.”I pushed myself upright.“I don’t care how old they are, we have to change to survive,” I said. “Humans only survived because they learned how to adapt. Because they changed with time. That’s how we became stronger.”Elara scoffed. “We’re not humans.”“And from the book I just read,” I shot back, “the first Lycan was human once. So don’t tell me we can’t learn from them.”She stared at me like I was about to start a war.“You know what you’re really asking for, right?” she said quietly. “You won’t just

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Lycan history

Ivonne's povI stared at the portrait again. The man in it looked powerful. Not cruel. Not dark. Just… a little too serious. Like someone who carried the weight of the world on his shoulders.Still, something about the way Elara looked at him made my chest feel tight.“Was he a bad man?” I asked quietly.Elara turned to me, surprised by the question. “No,” she said almost immediately. “He wasn’t.”I frowned. “Then why does your face look like that when you look at him?”Elara sighed. Not the dramatic kind. The tired, deep kind — the kind people sigh when they’re about to open a door they’ve kept locked for their personal reasons. She walked over to the tall shelf near the window and ran her fingers along the spines of dusty books before pulling one out.“I guess,” she said, turning back to me, “we’ll have to start from the basics.”She handed me the book. The cover was old, the edges worn. Gold lettering barely visible.I looked down.History of the First Lycan.“You want me to read t

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Learning more about the people

Authors note: Hey everyone, apologies for the late update, I had to take a break to rest.Ivonne's POV Elara didn’t answer my question right away.We stood in the corridor outside a building I assumed was the library, with the gemstones still flickering softly against the stone walls, and for one terrifying second, I thought I had pushed too far.“Elara…?” I asked again, my voice quieter now.She still didn’t move.My chest tightened. “I’m sorry If I brought the topic up too soon. If that question is too hard to answer right now then you don't need to —”She finally turned around. Her eyes were glossy, but not with tears. With what appeared to be memories as she began speaking.“I loved my cousin Chelsea so so much,” she said slowly. “More than anyone outside my mother.”I stayed silent, giving her space.“She was half Lycan,” Elara continued. “Which on this wretched realm meant that after her noble mother died, she was practically forced to live in the northern continent so that she
