The next morning, I roll over and notice that Asher isn’t by my side and I vaguely remember him telling me he has to live with his father for business. I thought it was a dream since it was so late at night. When I go downstairs for breakfast, I see that the table is almost full, with only two spare seats. I wake up in the middle of the night to stir from the bed; I see Millie sitting up and rubbing her eyes before looking around, as if trying to process where she is.
