25.TRIP SUCCESS

I found him in the attic sitting on one of the seats that the room provided. I sank into the seat next to his and relaxed in it. The attic had glass walls, the lights were off. The moon lit up the room dimly but it was enough for now.

He turned when I sat next to him and looked at me with intense eyes. He looked at me like a blind man seeing the sun for the first time, like I was a reward handed to him on a silver platter.

“Lina, I know that we haven’t known each other for that long. I also know that all this is a little premature but I can’t help it. I know that from the look of things, we won’t get to spend more time together. I want you to know this; I love you. It sounds crazy but I can’t seem to stay away from you nowadays. It might be because we are now trapped under the same roof or because we are in the same situation but I feel something really strong”, he said.
