Chapter 64: Misunderstanding

Since the announcement of Bea’s pregnancy, the couple would often take time to have a check-up every morning twice a week. The atmosphere at home had been merry and maybe it was because of the excitement that no one noticed that Caleb had been acting differently lately.

“You’re frowning again today, Cale.” Carson noticed as soon as he entered his room. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing’s wrong. Nothing… really.” Caleb sighed.

He woke up without his parents again and was left to eat a pancake alone. There was no call nor text coming from them so he just asked the driver to bring him to his uncle’s house without asking permission from them.
