The next morning, Alexis walked behind Gore as he head downstairs.

"Gore, stop being so damn stubborn and listen to me. Your mate is up to something, she was telling Harlow that w-"

Gore's snarling cut her off.

"I know that you all hate witches, but she is my mate and just as how you all accepted Harlow, you should accept Selina as well because she isn't going anywhere soon."

Alexis gaped at his words. No matter how hard she tried to tell Gore about what she heard Selina telling Harlow, he only snapped at her, dismissing what she had to say. He was only threatening to kill her if she got too close to Selina.

"Fine, but just you wait until shit hits the fan, because that bitch isn't what you think she is." Alexis snarled back at her brother before going to the kitchen for breakfast.

Gore ignored her words because he didn't want to hurt his sister, even though deep down he knew that something was off as well. But he wanted to give Selina the benefit if the doubt, willing to wait for her
