Gore spent nearly a week trying to get Selina's attention, but she seemed too busy for him, disappearing before the crack of dawn only to appear late at nights.

She also played mind games with him whenever she was around. One minute she was all over him, flirting and touching him. Then the next, she would push him away and make jokes about wolves.

He was starting to believe Alexis, but not fully, because he had finally found his mate and there was no way that he could think of her as a bad person.

He was afraid to confront her in fear that she may take offence and leave.
