Cheating

"You two should stay here for the night. It's already late."

San held the hand of his father while her mother was getting ready to leave.

"Kids are alone at home. How can we leave them like this?"

Her father patted her head.

"There won't be any traffic now so it won't take much."

Her mother added and picked her bag. San walked them to their car and stayed there until the car disappeared from her eyes. She inhaled deeply and turned but was startled by Gael who was an inch away from her.

"O gosh. You scared me."

She patted her chest but paused noticing something on his face.

"Ya. I feel bad for you but still.... stay away from my mom. Also, how dared you to complain about me? When did I ignore you, you lying dog."

San scolded the man who glanced at her but did not say anything.

"Why so sad?"

She put her hands on his arm and smiled softly.

"You have a great family."

He admitted making San laugh.
