LOGINHaven's POV
I could feel the veins from my eye, head, and every part of my body pull back as my heart began to form again and blood began to circulate again. I could hear Raven yelling but I was too weak to say anything. “Why the fuck would you do that? You could have just squeezed her heart. Did you have to pull it out”? She asked, yelling at him but he looked so calm. “I thought you guys were friends”? She said and for the first time, I saw Raven looking confused. I could hear Andy chuckle but I couldn't see his face. “Please, I could never be friends with such a weakling. Someone who has never met her wolf? That's ridiculous”. He said and tears began to fall from my eyes. I wasn't supposed to cry, not for an asshole like him, but I couldn't stop it. “I only hung out with her to get closer to you”. He said but Raven didn't look too impressed. Of course she wouldn't be, not because she cared about me, but because she felt played. She probably felt she was playing him and pushing him away from me, but it turns out he was playing her all along. She looked at him, speechless for a while before she folded her hands against her chest and spoke. “Get out”. She said calmly but she was visible angry. Andy nodded and without arguing, he began walking out. “Wait”. She suddenly said, stopping him from leaving. By this time, I was fully back. All that was left was for my wound to heal. She walked towards him and stretched out her hand. He looked at her with his brow raised and even I was confused as to what she wanted. “You're not going anywhere with my sister's heart". She said and I looked at her, pretty shocked that she was standing up for me. Andy was silent for a while before he smiled weirdly. “Since when have you ever cared for her”? He asked but she gave him no reaction. “You've killed her a hundred times over, I do it once and you suddenly become a good sister”? He asked but Raven smirked, raising one side of her lips. “Your wrong, I hate Haven but I have every right to, because I'm her sister”. She said and moved closer to him. “But you… what gives you the right"? She asked and before he could react, she reached out to his pocket to take the heart but it wasn't there. “Where did you keep it”? She asked and he looked at her as shock filled his face. He also reached for his pocket but it wasn't there anymore. They both turned to me and that was when they finally noticed I was awake. Andy rushed towards me but just before he could get to me, Raven blocked his way. “Move aside”. He said but she stood firm. “Not a chance". She said. He began backing away little by little and finally, he left the house. I kept looking at Raven who didn't move an inch until she was sure he was gone. This was the first time I was ever being defended by anyone in my life but seeing it being Raven didn't really feel so good. She turned to me and without saying a word, she walked out of the basement. I remained seated for a long time. My eyes kept looking at the book that was now stained with so much blood. I couldn't stop thinking about the sinister look on Andy's face. He looked like a monster who was ready to kill me over and over again. To think this was someone I had told so much and even some of my secrets. I felt so stupid and embarrassed. Even though I tried to tell myself that there was a reason, I just couldn't bring myself to give him any sort of excuse. For now, I'm just glad that Raven didn't hit me. The pain that came with having ones heart pulled out wasn't a nice one at all. Dropping the book in my hand, I took off the bedcover that was soaked with blood and immediately went ahead to wash it. My dad always says that the smell of my blood makes him want to kill me. I can't risk him coming home to the smell of my blood. When I got to the rooftop to spread my covers, I saw Raven smoking. I wanted to turn back and leave but of course, her sharp senses had already detected me. “Wanna know why I hate you so much”? She asked, and I turned, surprised she was asking me that. I've asked her countless times before and her words were always the same, I was a piece of shit. I said nothing and kept looking at her as she put out the cigarette and moved closer to me. “You… are a waste of power. You stay in my sight everyday, reminding me of that woman and her words, and even though she was right, you're still a waste of her words”. She said and I became exceedingly confused. I knew dad hates me because I look like mom but I didn't think Raven hated me because of the same person. 'is mom the reason why everyone hates me so much? What exactly did she do'? I thought to myself but Raven's word brought me back. “Do you want to know why I was so mad at Andy”? She asked and I looked at her, hoping her words would be a bit comforting. “It's because I thought he took away the opportunity for me to kill you myself”. She said and my heart sunk. What was I expecting, that she'd be worried about me? She moved even closer and looked me straight in the eyes. “For your sake, pray that alpha Urian chooses you tomorrow. I don't think I can stand you any longer”. She said and walked away, brushing my shoulder as she walked away. I stood still for a very long time. I always knew Raven couldn't stand me even when mom and dad were still together and loved us dearly. I didn't think too much about it as I thought she was just born to hate me but hearing what she said, I was beginning to rethink everything. What exactly did mom do to piss her off so much? Why has she hated me all these years and has no plans to forgive me? “Is mom the real enemy here”?Third person POV Luckily for Haven, the preparations for the ball kept her dad busy till it was finally the day for the ball. She stood at a distance as she looked at Raven get dressed. Raven was heartless and cold, but she was a very beautiful girl, one who could sweep anyone off their feet, even ladies were attracted to her. She was still looking when her dad pulled her hair from behind, startling her.“You bitch you think you can slack away just because I haven't had your time”?He spoke and Haven shook her head. “I'm… I'm sorry”.She said. All of the commotion drew Raven's attention, causing her to walk towards them. “What's going on, why are you both by my door”?She asked and Haven's heart began to beat so heavily. She could tell that she was in a lot of trouble just by the smile on Raven's face. “I found this rat stealing glances at you”.Her dad said and looked at Raven with a smile. “It's been a while, what do you say we have a little bit of fun before the ball”?He as

Haven's POVThe sudden pour of a cold bucket of water on my body woke me up. I immediately sat up, only to see Raven standing in front of me with an evil smile on her face and her hands folded. “You don't expect me to make breakfast, do you”?She asked and I immediately stood up and shook my head. I spent the whole night healing and some parts of my body was still aching. I was definitely not ready to get beaten again. At least, not this morning. “I'm sorry, I'll get to it immediately”.I said and was about to walk past her when she grabbed my hair, pulling me back. It hurts like hell, but I couldn't hold her hand or try to free myself as that was only going to annoy her even more. “What is this? Why are you being all bitchy this morning”?She said and I immediately shook my head. “Please, I didn't mean to offend you”.I said and she smiled before throwing me back on the bed. She walked towards me and I moved to the wall, fear evident on my face. Yes, I was weak, yes my spirit
Urian's POV I jolted up from my sleep just like I have been doing for almost a year now. It all started in the first week of April. I wasn't sure what it meant just yet, but my dreams were always filled with nightmares of a girl who's face I could not see clearly being killed over and over again. The dreams kept me up most hours of the night, almost like someone was trying to pass me a message but this time around, it felt worse. I could feel every pain and every anger. At first, I thought it could be my mate, but it made no sense as I was already destined never to have one. Plus, even werewolves who have found their mates could not feel their pain this much let alone, I who have never seen her before. I asked Valerie, my packs witch about it and she said all she knew is it was related to the prophecy but even with all of her powers, she also couldn't find this girl. I could feel the sweat dripping from my face because of the nightmare I just woke up from. Looking outside the w
Haven's POV I needed to know what was going on because most of the time, it would result to me getting more punishments. Going to my usual spot that had a bit of an opening so I could see and hear a bit, I remained as silent as I could as I tried to see what was going on through the woods on the floor. “What brings you here alpha George”?Dad asked and I finally understood why dad quickly hid me. Alpha George was a pretty peaceful alpha and if there was no need for it, he didn't allow violence within the pack especially not within families. Since Dad was one of his trusted elders, of course he couldn't let alpha George see me like this as it would get him in crazy trouble. “I'm sorry to bother you when you should be out having fun and hunting with your daughters”.He said and I swallowed as the word hunting was very traumatizing. My dad smiled and shook his head. “My girls are pretty tired tonight. Haven is already asleep”.He said and I couldn't help but admire how he lied so
Haven's POV I knew better than anyone that it would be better to fall off a cliff than get caught by the two wolves that were chasing after me. But even with how scared I was, I already knew how it was going to end. My dad and Raven, my twin always enjoyed using me as a hunt tool. Since I couldn't shift, and they knew I was gifted the power of immortality, they'd chase me every full moon and tear me apart knowing I wouldn't die. Every full moon, I go through the same kind of torture but my everyday life wasn't any better. As I ran through the woods, breathing ever so loudly, I hoped with all of me that they would not get me but as usual, it was all in vain. I was still running when Raven jumped at me from behind, falling me to the ground. Soon, I saw my dad come up to me and as I closed me eyes for the inevitable pain, I heard Raven speak. “Slitting your throat would be too easy tonight”.I opened my eyes and noticed she and my dad had shifted back to their human form. My hear
