Chapter seventeen

Gideon's POV

"We weren't like this before".

"Things became messed up because of her and even if you deny it, I'm positive she is cause for all of this". Vivian voice reverberates in the silent room.

I'm honestly surprised by her sudden outburst, she has been this annoying recently and she is starting to irk me.

"if you don't release them I also won't stop getting under your skin" she continues as she closes the distance between us.

Her green eyes stared back at me with determination.

I have known her for a long time and I'm still shocked that she has this side of her hidden all this while.

"Are you daring me?" I suddenly feel like laughing because of her futile attempt to intimidate me.

"That is a game you will never win". I said finding her extremely funny.

"Gideon"

"I'm doing all this because I still love you and I want us to get back together" she said suddenly after realizing that her plan has gone south.

"I feel really bad seeing both of you together and I got overwhelmed
