Chapter 13

Monday morning.

Shane Williams was about to get up and prepare breakfast, when he saw the two kids already dressed and ready for school, he was shocked .

“Who prepared you for school? He asked.

The both exchange a glance , “we did,” the answered in unison.

“Grandpa, we are not kids anymore, we are adults, and we don’t need anyone to take care of us.” Lily the second child said sweetly.

Lilly rushed to Stephanie’s room, “Stephanie, grandpa is taking us to school, I want you to pick us back from school.”

“Got it,” Stephanie answered and went back to sleep.

After breakfast, Shane Williams took them to school. On the way, Liam and Lilly exchanged a glance, then turned their eyes to Shane Williams .

“Grandpa, you must know who our father is, right? Liam asked.

Shane Williams remained silent.

Seeing his silence, Lilly added. “Grandpa’s silence means he knows!’

Shane Williams was speechless, it wasn’t easy to deal with this two smart kids .

“Why don’t you ask your mom?”

We just want to know who our dad is, we don’t want to ask mom, because we don’t want to upset her. “Liam said

“Besides, having mom is enough for us. “ he added.

Hearing this, Jane Williams quietly breathed a sigh of relief.

This kids were so thoughtful.

Stephanie finally wake up freshen up and prepared for work. Once done, she headed to the research center.

Stephanie had become the talk of the institute, and many who hadn’t seen her, were eager to catch a glimpse.

“I heard the vice dean is a top heart surgeon.”

“Yes, she just returned from Finland heart research center.”

“I heard she is so young and beautiful, can’t wait to see her.•

On getting to the institute, she met the director, who showed her to her office.

“I’ve put everything you need in the top right cabinet , you can take your time with the rest .” The director explained.

He shared a lot of information, and gave many instructions to Stephanie, before going to his own office.

When the director left, Stephanie arranged her office, and focused on her work. Right now the research is facing obstacles in the driving mechanism. And she needs to find a solution.

The rest of the day went peacefully, around noon Stephanie remembered she had promised Lily to pick them up from school , she gathered her things and headed outside.

Stephanie drove to the school and met her children waiting for her.

“Mom, you are late,” Lilly pouted.

“I’m sorry my darling, you know today is my first day at work and I was very busy, and I almost forgot.”

“What! Mom forgets her little princess because of work, I’m not mummy’s little princess anymore.” Lily pouted.

Stephanie started coaxing her. “You’re my only princess., my princess Lily! don’t worry mom bought you dessert to apologize .”

Hearing this , Lily eyes lit up. “Mom is the best!”

Liam rolled his eyes. “glutton, all you think about is food .”

“Mom, Liam called me glutton again!” Lily whined.

“Liam, don’t call my princess glutton again .”

Opposite the street, a woman sat in her car, watching Stephanie and her children as they giggled towards their car. Her face was full of shock, her hands clenched Into a fists , and her carefully made up face, showed a hint of panic.

Stephanie had actually come back, but how come Stephanie is back? So she left capital city years ago because she was pregnant , and now she is suddenly back with her two children, what is she planning?

She closed her trembling eyelid , as if doubting everything she was seeing , but when she opened her eyes again and saw Stephanie and her children chatting and laughing not far away, her heart skipped a bit .

That woman is Jane Williams, Stephanie’s cousin sister.

Stephanie did not notice Jane, as she and her children entered her car and drove away.

Had it been Stephanie returned alone, she wouldn’t be so bothered, because she knows Stephanie would never tell Nathan anything, and even if she does, there is no evidence to back her claims.

But now seeing those two children, especially the little boy who is a miniature version of Nathan, she knew that if she didn’t act fast, her deepest secret would be exposed.

However, she had plan on having a child with Nathan while Stephanie was away, so that even if the truth is exposed one day, at least she will still have the Robinsons blood and flesh, grandpa Robinson wouldn’t allow Nathan to do anything to her and she can continue being Mrs Robinson .

Even if she doesn’t receive Nathan’s love , so what? She was still the envy of every woman as Mrs Robinson!

But what she never expected , was that Nathan had never touch her for the past five years of their marriage, they had not even slept in the same room! Despite all her attempts to seduce Nathan, she had never succeeded.

Five years ago, Nathan actually investigated Stephanie, but Stephanie was not in the capital and she was not scared, but now….

Five years ago, Mia had contracted a private investigator and gave him Stephanie’s picture, telling him to inform her immediately when he sees her in the capital. Who knows it will come handy now, she had even forgotten about that, but just yesterday, the private investigators had called to tell her that Stephanie had returned.

Her private investigator had told her that Stephanie had come back but she didn’t believe it seeing it with her own eyes she was shocked.

Not only did Stephanie came back, but she came back with two children who looked a lot like Nathan, she didn’t need a soothsayer to tell her that the children were Nathan’s.

How did this happen? Her private investigator didn’t even tell her about the children.

She needs to act fast before Nathan or the old master Robinson finds out about the existence of this children.

With this thought she started her car and drove to her mother’s villa.

Stephanie don’t blame me for being rude, blame yourself for not aborting the pregnancy when you found out.

I can’t hesitate to destroy any obstacles that will threaten my position as Mrs Robinson.
