CHAPTER 17

My day continued normally. I went to school, listened to my professors' endless discussion, had my lunch with Alliyah, and when my last class in the afternoon came, I started getting anxious.

Alliyah and I parted ways.

I went to the ladies' comfort room and fixed my messy hair and the ruined collar of my uniform. On Mondays, we are obliged to wear our uniforms.

I tied my hair in a bun and looked at myself in the mirror. I looked pale. But, I always looked like this and it's no big deal.

I held tight on my backpack's slings and let out a deep breath.

“This is it!” I said to myself before leaving the comfort room.

The meeting place was only a five minutes walk from here.

I continued walking and walking until I finally reached the entrance door of the small library, my heart's beat went faster again.

This is not really normal. That man is going to give me heart problems.
