Mother of my child? What the fuck!

I stared at him so deeply that he might have felt I was digging a hole in his face. He smiled again sheepishly and presented his card.

“My name is Harry Weiss, the CEO of HW Group. As you might have guessed already, those are my initials…” Harry introduced. Even from his tone, I could tell that he took a lot of pride in himself. Such humans could be difficult to handle, I could tell. Harry stared at me back, obviously waiting for me to say something.

“No wonder your face looked familiar!” I broke the heat between us. “I must have seen you in some… erm… tabloids!”

“Right, tabloids!” Harry looked flustered. “I was notified that my sperm was accidentally inseminated into your… you know… body. I would like to take full responsibility for that and that is why I am here. If you don't mind, we could go somewhere more comfortable to discuss. I don't mind the hot sun, I promise. However, I feel you might be uncomfortable.”

Right, the sperms of three men were inside me. I wondered why I had taken it so lightly. I took a deep breath.

“You don't need to take responsibility. Please forget what happened. I will do the same,” I replied. I was about to turn back when Harry grabbed my hand. That move was a fast and sharp one. It hurt me.

“What are you doing?” I frowned at him. He must have been frightened by my glance because he took his hands off me immediately.

“I'm sorry, I must have been out of my mind,” Harry muttered.

“Leave!” I told him. I turned towards Ken who seemed to have recovered. We were right at the gate and there were CCTVs around. The security team should be here already but they were not. Undoubtedly, they were slacking off. I made a mental note to fire the security team leader the moment I entered. Or perhaps, I had to get permission from Nicholas before I did that.

“I will leave now,” Harry told me. “However, don't think I am leaving your life. I understand that you probably got an offer from Nicholas seeing that you're going to marry him. However, that unborn baby is equally mine. I will be back!” Harry smiled. Suddenly, Nicholas's car appeared. He was speeding and he applied the car brakes when he got near us. He ran out of the car and came between Harry and I.

“What are you doing here?” Nicholas asked. It seemed he had lost his breath. He acted in this same manner when I was talking to Austin. Why does he get worked up whenever I talk to a man?

Perhaps, it wasn't about gender?

“I came to see the mother of my unborn child…” Harry said coolly.

“Be careful,” Nicholas told him. “I won't go easy on you if you cross me this time. You know me well. You know I don't give second chances.”

“Is that so?” Harry asked as he laughed. “Your principle is long gone, old friend. I have crossed you several times but you've never struck back. Are you not being restricted by silly emotions?”

“Right!” Nicholas replied firmly. “However, I won't entertain your tricks this time. Touch one hair of hers and I'll make sure you rot in hell.”

“I have no reason to harm my lovely May,” Harry winked at me. “You are not the only one that wishes to protect her. I do too because she carries my child as well. Does that soothe you?”

I had never seen Nicholas look so angry. His fists were clenched and he looked like an overinflated balloon. He looked like he was going to burst any moment from now.

Harry, in a cool like manner, entered his car and drove off. Nicholas still looked shaken.

“Are you okay?” I asked.

“I should be asking you that,” He replied.

“I'm fine. Why do you keep getting worked up on every little thing?” I asked him. “Doing this makes you look weak. You should know that by now.”

I signalled to Ken and both of us entered the car. The gate opened and we drove inside, leaving Nicholas and his car outside. I waited for him to enter but he never did. Ken must have noticed this.

“Boss won't be coming in,” Ken told me. “He looks frustrated and whenever he is, he goes to relieve his anger.”

“What does he go to?” I asked.

“The boxing ring…” Ken whispered. “It is a secret known by few. Actually, boss is a boxing SUPERSTAR!”

Then Ken started laughing so hard. He must have thought he just made a successful joke. I shook my head and left the garage. I was burdened.

Mama wanted to know what happened and I told her to ask Ken instead. A lot of complicated things had happened today and I still didn't know how to react to them. However, I knew the basics.

There was the internet for a reason. I searched up Harry Weiss and found out he was quite popular in the business world. He was an opportunist! He grew up with millionaire parents. He chose not to be associated with his parent's company and forged his own way. At twenty, he became personal secretary to a multimillionaire. Two months after, the multimillionaire dies and shockingly leaves all his fortune to Harry whom he met two months ago rather than his three children.

Fishy, right?

Anyway, he went back to his parent's company and merged it with the one he inherited. He built HW Group from that. Now, he is widely celebrated as a self-made billionaire.

Well, he had power and wealth and that was what mattered. From what I noticed earlier, Nicholas and Harry weren't just enemies. They seemed to know themselves very well. There was only one person I could ask about this.

Mama!

I ran out the door only to find her there. I was so shocked that my soul almost left my body.

“Are you…” Mama looked shocked too.

“I am fine!” I replied even when I didn't hear the question fully. “Have you ever heard of the name Harry Weiss?”
