GABRIELLE’S POV

When I left the resort, Damon was still sleeping.

I left under the guise of going shopping even though I knew Damon would be pissed if he found out I lied.

I had expected the address to be easy to find but it was on a side of town that none of the drivers were willing to go.

“What do you mean you can’t go there?” I asked the fifth driver, my brow raised. “I’ll pay you twice the price if you do. Please.”

The driver hesitated, glancing at me through the rear-view mir

GABRIELLE’S POV I was a mess of nerves when Damon was done with me, my clit still throbbing from his spanks minutes later. After a few more minutes of collecting myself, I slipped my underwear back on and fixed my hair as best as I could before moving to the front passenger seat. My phone buzzed. An email notification glowed on the screen, and when I opened it, my stomach tightened. It was from the hospital. Consultation appointment confirmed. And it was for the next day. I stared at the screen longer than necessary, my thumb hovering over it as if the words might rearrange themselves into something less final. For a brief moment, I considered telling Damon about my plans and asking his thoughts on the matter. But I pushed the thought down immediately. We were only married for a year. Of course, he wouldn’t want children. That was way too permanent for a temporary relationship. And after today—after hearing about his childhood, and after the distance in his

GABRIELLE’S POV Damon got into the car, started it, and drove off without a word. He didn’t even look at me. He had been driving for a few minutes, his eyes on the road and his knuckles white against the steering wheel. Unable to bear the silence anymore, I broke it. “The weather is quite nice today, don’t you think?” He didn’t respond immediately, the silence suffocating and even worse now. “It’s nice,” he finally said in a clipped tone. I turned my attention to the road and realized he wasn’t driving out of the estate. I cleared my throat to speak again. “Where are we going?” The car turned onto a street and kept moving but he didn’t respond. I hated that I couldn’t tell what was going on in his head. Sometimes I wished I could read his mind. After a few more minutes of silence, I turned to him. “So now you’re going to give me the silent treatment?” His jaw tightened. “I’m not.” “You are,” I returned, undoing my seat belt so I could face him. “You

GABRIELLE’S POV I felt my heart drop. Damon was staring directly at me, his expression flat. To others, he might look bored and unbothered, but I knew what that look in his eyes meant. As if I weren’t already in enough trouble, Rhys raised his hand and waved. “Hi, brother. It’s great to have you visit us for once. Did you miss me?” I turned to him. “Cut that out.” He smirked, his eyes still on Damon. “I’ll return your wife in one piece when I’m done, okay?” Damon’s eyes moved to him and his fist clenched by his side but he didn’t move or even speak. The scarred man laughed. “Oh, your husband doesn’t look so happy, sweet thing.” Before I could even react, Rhys had landed a punch on the scarred man’s nose, and I heard a loud crack. The scarred man groaned, holding his bleeding nose. “Shit!” “What the fuck?” I asked, my eyes widening. Rhys wiped the blood on his knuckles with the scarred man’s shirt. “Relax, love. Vani should be thanking me. If it were Damon

GABRIELLE’S POV I took a step back involuntarily. “Where are my manners?” He asked suddenly, walking back to the bar to pour a drink “I didn’t even ask if you wanted a drink. What’s your preference?” It was obvious Rhys was just going to dance around the question and make threats at me occasionally. I should have taken the hint and walked away, but I didn’t. I couldn’t. I’d already lied to Damon and taken the risk of coming all this way to see Rhys. I couldn’t just let it go now. My stomach twisted uncomfortably. “Was Damon right to warn me? Are you really that bad or is it just a misunderstanding between you two?” He exhaled. “I guess I’ll pour you red wine, then. That should be your preference. Red wine for Red Lips.” Was he referring to me? Red was usually my favourite lipstick color and I wore it every time, as long as it matched my outfit. But I wasn’t wearing red lipstick today so I could be wrong. I had come here for clarity but all I got was mor

I’ll drop you off at the estate gate and you’ll walk the rest of the way there.” I nodded in agreement. I’d been given five chances to change my mind but I didn’t accept any of them. If something went wrong I’d have no one to blame but myself. My brain was screaming at me to abort the mission but of course, I didn’t listen as usual. After all, who was I without my impulsive decisions? That was how I got married to a total stranger I’d come to

  • ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED TO THE BILLIONAIRE SINGLE DAD   CHAPTER 108

GABRIELLE’S POV I think I lost the ability to scream. My mouth parted, and I had gathered air in my lungs, but when I released it, all that came out was a weak, broken sound. I held on tightly to him and even with the air conditioning, our bodies were still slick with sweat against each other. My head slumped over his shoulders and I breathed through my mouth against his neck as he fucked me in the air. “Breathe through your nose, Gabrielle,” he murmured. “Take deep breaths for me.” I obeyed. His thrusts were brutally slow and the angle was just right, making me feel a sensation I’d never felt before. I felt like my core was literally about to explode and not just in an orgasmic way. My nails dug into his shoulder. “Damon—ahh. I’m going to—” Going to what? His voice came out in a short burst of breath. “Let it.” He pulled all the way out and slammed back in again, eliciting a moan from me. He took me slowly, like he was savoring how my walls gripped ar
