*** JAKE'S P.O.V ***

When his wolf arrived in the woods, there was dead silence. He wondered if the black eyes boy had even come. But he promised to come, humans uphold promises and kept them. The boy was not a human but he had lived with them for a long time to be like them. He sniffed the air and he could perceive him, not his wolf, him. His wolf knew the boy was there and he ran as fast as he could to their usual spot. When he got there, he saw him. Sitting on a tree stump with his face in his palms, deep asleep he could not even hear Jake approach. He wondered why the boy was out in the woods sleeping, he was supposed to be running. His wolf transformed and Jake walked up to where he was sitting and reached out to tap his shoulder. When he did, the boy jerked up.
