 Rexton's POV.

The sound of footsteps could be heard passing through the hallway. In a dark room, Amelie and I stood face to face at a very close distance.

I had composed a sentence in my brain, but I could only exhale heavily when I was about to say it. I can't say that, I can't imagine how sad the two wolves are inside each of us. I don't want to hurt her at all.

I felt her breath hit my face, maybe vice versa. One thing I hope for, is that someone out there doesn't come into the room that I don't even know what room it is.

The sound was getting closer. "Rexton ... where are you?" She looked for me, and it was Matilda's voice. I can recognize it well.

 "Hhmmpp--"

Amelie almost made a sound, but I immediately covered her mouth.

"Do you want her to know that we are mates?"

Amelie answered by shaking her head, I could see it in the dark even though it was a little faint.

"If it's like that, then shut up."

The sound of footsteps drifted away. It seems Matilda has already passed through this room. I strained my ears so I could hear her movements.

From my hearing, I could tell that Matilda was continuing to walk forward. The distance is now about ten meters from me. She started checking the men's toilet without going into it.

I couldn't go out yet or tell Amelie to go first. Matilda was still around the hallway, I couldn't hear her movements anymore.

"I want to go out," said Amelie, her voice muffled by my hand which was still covering her mouth.

I was silent, not answering Amelie's words. My hands were still gripping her hands tightly and covering her mouth.

The sound of footsteps was heard again, she was about to return to the hall. Now all I have to think about is what reason to tell her.

"Ouch, shit!" I almost screamed when Amelie bit the surface of my hand, luckily I managed to hold back my scream.

Amelie opened the door, then came out, leaving me who was still in pain from her bite in this dark room just like that.

After making sure Matilda was no longer around here, I also went out. Returning to the hall, Amelie was seen who had returned to join her friends.

I sat back down next to Matilda who had returned to her original chair. To relieve my nervousness, I took a sip of the orange juice on the table.

"Where have you been?" Matilda asked.

I put the glass containing orange juice back on the table. "Toilet." I answered briefly.

 "What took you so long?"

"There was someone who called me earlier, I was chatting with him in one of the rooms down the hall."

Matilda looked at me, a pair of brown eyes aimed at my chest. "Why are your clothes wet?"

"Oh, y--yes, earlier I accidentally splashed with water when I was in the toilet."

Matilda's eyebrows furrowed. I could feel that she didn't fully trust me. As long as she just suspects me without knowing the facts, I don't care about that.

It was eleven o'clock in the evening. It didn't feel like time had passed so quickly and I had been busy talking to Gwendolyn's parents about their daughter wanting to marry Luke, even though both of them knew and also saw that Gwendolyn already had a boyfriend, and her boyfriend even came to this birthday party.

I can't imagine if their plan worked. Luke will marry Gwendolyn, that woman will probably be my spy and report it to Amelie.

"That's a good idea, Mr. Jeremy. But doesn't Gwendolyn already have a boyfriend?" Matilda represents my curiosity.

"Yes, but I don't think he's the best partner for our daughter. He's just a businessman whose career is taking off."

"What my wife said is true, we want to match Gwendolyn with Beta Luke. I see his future is better than Gwendolyn's current boyfriend. Hasn't Beta Luke met his mate yet?"

"Not that I know of." I answered while smiling. Even so, I don't agree with Mr. Jeremy and his wife.

As the night went on, the atmosphere in the hall became hotter. The music was getting louder and the lights were flashing.

Not only were they chatting casually, some people were now starting to dance, while others were enjoying the drinks that were being served again.

"Wine for you, Babe." Matilda handed me a glass.

"Thank You." I raised the glass she gave me and we toasted first before enjoying it.

While sipping wine, I turned towards the middle table. Amelie and her two friends were still there, while Gwendolyn had gone somewhere.

 "Give me another glass."

"Don't drink too much, Babe. You'll still have to drive later."

I nodd my head even though I didn't really hear what she was saying. Matilda doesn't know what really happened yet, and I hope she won't ever find out.

Amelie's presence almost drove me crazy. I'm in a situation I don't know how to do. On the one hand, I felt happy because I managed to meet my mate, but on the other hand, I was also sad because my mate came at a time when I had chosen Matilda as my life partner.

I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but how? Should I keep Matilda as well as Amelie? Can it be like that?

"Babe, what's wrong with you?" Matilda gasped as I placed the glass roughly on the table.

My eyes closed, I shook my head.

"You can tell me if there's a problem."

I shook my head again. How could I tell her about this. I don't want to hurt Matilda's feelings, let alone lose her.

 ***

From behind the window I saw that the street was quite busy even though it was raining heavily. I took a sip of the black coffee that still had half left, then turned to the computer in my work room.

I've still been paying attention to the social media profile with the name Amelie Chyn since yesterday. I used a new account to be friends with that account and see every upload it made.

 "Hi, Amelie."

I dared to send a short message while the account was active. It didn't take long, Amelie immediately saw the short message I sent and saw that she was typing a reply.

 "Hi, sorry, who is this?"

I have received a reply message from Amelie. I thought she wasn't a woman who could easily respond to messages from other people like Matilda, it turns out she was quite friendly too.

"I accidentally saw your account and just wanted to send a message."

"Did we know each other before?"

"No, but I saw you at the bar. Is the guy you met that night your boyfriend?"

  • ALPHA REXTON, I'M NOT YOUR TRUE LUNA   You Don't Need To Worry

Amelie's POV. Hearing the good news, I immediately ran to the hotel and woke my friend up. I can't wait to see Griffin again soon, I hope he can be rescued easily and is in good condition. "Hailey ... Hailey, wake up. We have to go to the castle now. Alpha Rexton is going to attack where Gloria is tonight. He said we have to wait for his arrival at the castle." "Attack? Tonight? Are you serious, Amelie? You're not dreaming, are you?" I shook my head quickly. "No, I just met Alpha Rexton earlier. Get up, I'll call Andrew and Ben." "Where--where did you meet Alpha Rexton earlier, Amelie?" Hailey still doesn't seem to believe it. Meanwhile I left the hotel room and went to the next room to call Andrew and Ben. I didn't have time to answer his question. My two feet walked quickly. I don't know how many times I pressed the bell until Ben finally opened the door with his pillow face. Just like Hailey, he also looked like he didn't believe it, but I still convinced him. Now the four

  • ALPHA REXTON, I'M NOT YOUR TRUE LUNA   Going To Attack

Griffin's POV. I don't know how long I've been in this basement. About an hour ago Gloria delivered food which only consisted of one biscuit and a glass of water. I still felt hungry if I only ate that, but Gloria didn't give me any more, she actually threatened me by not giving me any more to eat if I asked for more. This left me with no other choice but to nod and endure my hunger. Besides, this was also my fault for not obeying what she said. My eyes looked forward, to the basement walls which were not neat and were still in the form of dirt. It looks like this basement has never been repaired and continues to be like this or this is a newly built basement, I don't know. Tired of sitting, I lay down. I could only curl up and cry, missing my mother who never came to save me. The sound of the door lock opening again was heard, I saw Gloria descending the stairs while covering her nose. The basement is really dirty and smelly, it's because of my poop. My chained feet meant I could

  • ALPHA REXTON, I'M NOT YOUR TRUE LUNA   Just Like You

Rexton's POV. I really didn't expect that Matilda and Levin were mates. Realizing this, it was as if Matilda was pushing me backwards and further away from her. Matilda was still standing in the same place. She looked at me intently. What she said just now was not wrong. I still often think about Amelie and even regret rejecting her. Can Matilda see my attitude clearly? I never realized it. "Yeah, Levin and I are mates." Matilda said after a moment, reassuring me. "S--since when did you know?" "Since the first time I met him after not seeing each other for several years." Matilda answered without hesitation. "I met him at the bus stop when I was going to work." "Why ... why didn't you tell me, Matilda?" Matilda sighed. "Didn't you also tell me that you were mates with Amelie?" Instead of answering, she just threw the question back at me. I was silent at Matilda's question. We were both wrong. If only Matilda had said that she was mate with Levin from the start, maybe I would

  • ALPHA REXTON, I'M NOT YOUR TRUE LUNA   I Also Get The Photo

Rexton's POV. "Y--you got it too?!" Beta Luke nodded his head so easily. "Y--yes, Alpha Rexton." He reached into his pocket. "Look at this." I complied and received the smartphone from Beta Luke. Previously, my eyes had looked at him for a few moments before I finally looked at the smartphone. On the smartphone I found the same photo as the one I got, even the foreign number who sent it was the same. My forehead furrowed, I was curious about who was actually behind this strange number. How come the foreign phone number knows my cell phone number, Beta Luke and even Mr. Anderson? Is it possible that they didn't just send the photos to me and people related to me too? What if the photo gets spread? What if this photo gets spread? There are many questions present in my mind and they are very disturbing. "Find out about it." I said as I returned the smartphone to Beta Luke who was the owner. "We're going back to the castle now." "Okay, Alpha Rexton." The car drove slowly away from

  • ALPHA REXTON, I'M NOT YOUR TRUE LUNA   You Can't Act All Spoiled

Rexton's POV. I saw the car in which Amelie and her friends were traveling away from the castle through the window in the work room. The car just passed by until it finally passed the gate and was no longer visible in my sight. I let out a rough breath, Amelie's presence back in my life seemed to be at the right time. At least that's what I'm partnering with now. After I could no longer see the car, I sat down on my work chair. My hands started to open the laptop and re-check the documents that seemed to be needed during the meeting later. A few moments passed and I felt that everything was complete and perfect, nothing was left behind and nothing was missing in the slightest. I really appreciate Beta Luke's performance, which is always satisfying. When I was about to go to get ready, I actually heard the sound of my smartphone beeping, indicating that I had received a short message. Not as usual, this time I was curious about what notifications came into my smartphone. I sat back

  • ALPHA REXTON, I'M NOT YOUR TRUE LUNA   I'm Very Thirsty

Griffin's POV. I took the thin cloth that Gloria said was a blanket, folded it several times and I lay face down on the basement ground. I tried my hand to reach the water droplets so that the cloth in my hand could catch the water droplets. My lips smiled when I saw what I was doing was working. Maybe by waiting a few moments I will get water to wet my throat which is already very dry. "Please speed up the dripping. I'm very thirsty, I want to drink." I said softly while continuing to pay attention to the cloth which was almost completely wet. The cloth was on top of my hand so that it was not directly exposed to the basement soil, only the top of the basement. However, I feel this water is clean enough and I can use it for drinking. Waiting for a few more moments, the cloth in my hand was already wet. Pulling my hand back, the cloth was already very wet and there were even droplets coming from it. I smiled and without waiting long immediately directed the cloth to my mouth. So
