EROS' POVBy the times I got up the next morning, the time was already forty minutes after nine. I would've probably slept for much longer if Sebastian hadn't come banging on my door. Princess was curled up in a ball next to me on my bed, clearly not interested in day time activities just yet. I stumbled out of bed, and made my way down the stairs to my front door."Good morning, Mr. West." A worried Sebastian greeted, startled by the force at which I'd swung the door open."Morning, Sebastian." I let him in, and walked to the kitchen. "Why have you banged on my front door this morning? Did someone die?" I said, sarcastically, as I turned on the coffee making machine that sat on the far end of the kitchen island."Uhm, no, sir." Sebastian stood by the door. "It's just, the time is almost ten 'o' clock, Mr. West. You clock in at work at eight-thirty." He stated. I gestured for him to leave the door, and sit down in the living room, before joining him. I took a deep breath."Well, Seba
DALIA'S POV"So how're we doing this, call, email?" Emily said, as she walked through my front door which I held open for her. I followed her in and closed the door behind me, dropping my keys on the tall, wooden stool by the door."I'm not entirely sure myself." I prop my hand in my food bag, and bring out the flyer Dr. Amber had given me. "On here they have a telephone number, an email address, and even a F******k account." I stated.Emily turned around, walking backwards to the living room. "F******k?" She cackled. "What, are we in like, twenty-twelve?" She turned back around, and flopped into the long armed chair facing the T.V.I let out a low chuckle, as I walked over to the kitchen island, and set my things on there, before turning behind to the sink to wash my hands. "Well, I think I'm just going to call then." I said."Alright then, let's do this." Emily slapped the arm of the chair repeatedly, like she was gas up a bunch of uninterested teenagers, at a school pep rally. I tur
EROS' POVThe time passed by quickly as Betty and I rummaged through my closet, looking for what I'd where out. She had gotten hungry not too long after our quest began, so I ordered a pizza and heated up some left of chicken nuggets from the fridge."How do you live here all alone, don't you ever get bored?" Betty asked, as she dropped the large pizza box and the centre table, and sat on the rug. She folded both her legs inwards, and turned on the television."I'm not alone." I replied. "I live with Princess." I said, dropping the plate of chicken nuggets beside the pizza box. I walked back to the kitchen, and pulled out two large cups from the drawer. I rinsed them, and filled them with ice cubes, before grabbing a big size Fanta bottle out of the fridge."Princess isn't a real person." Betty laughed. "No offense, baby." She said to Princess who was snuggled on the couch behind her."Y'know, I strongly disagree, but I don't see the issue here. I'm barely home anyway. Most of my time
EROS' POVAfter more than half a pizza box, an entire bottle of soda, and two episodes of You, Betty was ready to head out into the night. I decided to get dressed in the second room, while Betty got ready in mine. I threw on a pair of blue jeans, and topped them with a thick, yellow, long sleeved top made out of yarn. I laced up my brown Timberland shoes, blew my hair out, and wore some accessories. When I was done, I walked across to my room, and knocked on the door."Dude, you've been in there for a least forty minutes." I said, leaning against the door as though it would make my voice any louder."You can't rush perfection." Betty called out. From the sounds of it, she was somewhere around my walk-in closet."Yeah, well, I'm kinda losing my party mojo so maybe you should hurry up before it's all completely gone." I warned.I heard her screech, followed by heavy footsteps leading up to my room door. Betty flung the door open, and stood right in the doorway."You wouldn't dare." She
EROS' POV"C'mon dude… it's literally just… just one step left." I slurred. Betty and I found ourselves staggering up the stairs leading to my front door at four in the morning. I pushed my weight against the rail on the side of the stairs, one hand holding my body up, with the other wrapped tight around Betty's waist. She swung an arm around my neck, unable to even stand on her own."Would you like a hand, Mr. West?" Sebastian said from the bottom. I had no recollection of when I had called him, or when he had arrived. Betty and I were in no frame of mind to get behind the wheel, and I wasn't about to leave my car at the club. When Sebastian showed up, Betty was bent over on the side walk, pouring her insides on all the concrete floor. I stood beside her, rubbing her back, and apologising to passersby. The night had passed in a blur. The club had gone wild a few minutes after we got there, pole dancers, and underground rappers performed together, before more B list celebrities and so
DALIA'S POVEmily held the door open for me, as we both walked into the clinic. She had decided to sleep over at my place last night. I assumed it was partly because she didn't want to leave me alone, and partly because she was just too lazy to drive back to her house. It was not an unusual occurrence. Emily and I often had many unplanned sleepovers at my house. So much so, that she had a toothbrush, wash cloth, and even a box of clothes at my house. This early afternoon however, she had refused to wear any of the things she had over. She complained about how none of the items matched her energy for the day, and I ended up digging something out of my own closet for her to wear. Emily and I were about the same size, except she had a slightly smaller chest. My clothes did however look much nicer on her, of course I never admitted that, but we both knew. She wore a pair of black jeans, with rips around the knees and thigh areas, and a bright yellow crop top with the word where boldly wri
DALIA'S POVI rushed out into the hallway, slamming the door to Dr. Westley's office behind me. I back my back to the nearest wall, and slide down against it, tears running down both sides of my face. My chest heaved a a took, big, deep breaths, trying to get my breathing back to normal. I had said repeatedly that I wasn't anything close to ready for a baby, but now, I had began to think that maybe that was just what I thought I was supposed to say. Nobody was ever really ready for a baby, they all learnt on the job, and so could I. I didn't mind how much I had to sacrifice, or how much harder I had to work, I was ready to give it my all to be the best mother to this little person growing inside of me.I brought the very hem of my skirt to my face, and dabbed underneath my eyes, and cheek areas. It was only then that I noticed Meoly had been standing over me, watching in silence the whole time."I know what you're gonna say, you're gonna say, Dee, what'are you doing? You're not prepar
DALIA'S POVThe weekend went by quicker than usual. I woke up Monday morning with a sense of dread, and vomit crawling up my throat. Emily had told me that I had to Eros I was pregnant with his baby, and she was not negotiable about it. She said I would hate myself if I intentional stood in the way of their possible father-child relationship, and my child would ask questions soon enough. After a long argument on the way back to my place, I gave in, and agreed to tell Eros about the pregnancy. After I had emptied whatever I had eaten from the night before in the toilet bowl, I flushed it down, and took a long pee."What makes her so sure that he'd even want to be in our lives." I mumbled, as I tore three squares of toilet paper; and wiped myself dry. I dropped the used toilet paper in the water, and flushed again, before pulling up my underwear and walking over to the sink.I knew Emily only wanted what was best for me, but I couldn't help but feel like this was a setup. There was no w
