Violation

"Miss, where are you going?"

I stopped where I was standing when the guard asked me as I entered the Equal Bar.

"I am going inside, why?" tugon ko na nakaliyad at naka taas kilay rito.

"Okay, just be sure you have your partner with you, Miss."

Nagtataka ako sa sinabi nito. "And why do I need it?"

"It is a club rule, Ma'am. You need a partner or boyfriend when you enter this bar, if you don't have one, you can't go inside." tugon nito sa akin.

Mas lalong nangunot ang noo ko. "Well, my boyfriend is on his way now. I will just wait for him inside," hindi ko mapigilan magsinungaling dahil sa kagustuhan kong pumasok sa parte ng lugar na iyon at ma experience ang mag bar hopping na hindi ko nagawa sa Pilipinas.

"Just be sure, ma'am, or else you will be punished." seryoso nitong saad.

"Yeah, I am sure..." Ngumisi ako rito saka taas noong pumasok na sa madilim na entrance ng bar.
