Adam Chapter 17

I felt refreshed after the shower. Water always replenished me which is why I loved the rain. I could be in my favorite tailored suit and stand in the rain. God washed away a lot in the rain, especially for me. I looked at my phone, still nothing. I had made up my mind that I wasn’t going to bother her anymore today. I put on my deodorant and lotion, threw on a tee shirt and some sweats, and prepared for my cooking class. I peaked at my phone again, nothing. Okay maybe just one more. ‘I miss you already.’ I wrote and sat back smiling. She was like a drug, and that text was my fix. I got up and headed into the kitchen.

Chef Anna was banging out some Chicken Marsala. I had been to her restaurant plenty of times, and this was my favorite thing on her menu. We’d met quite a few times. I always complimented the chef if they did me right, and she never disappointed. She told me in one of our meetings she did an online class and I told her I would check it out. She was using chicken breasts
