Chapter 19: Aviana

I open my eyes to find my face resting on Kayden’s muscular chest, his arm wrapped tightly around my waist. I look up at his face to see a peaceful expression on his face.

It is still a little too early in the morning, so there isn’t much light but I can still see his face clearly.

I reach up to touch his cheek when I feel him stirring in his sleep. I pull my hand back and look down, pretending to be asleep.

Did I wake him up?

Darn it!

If he finds out that I’ve been staring at him in his sleep, he’ll surely think that I’m a creep!

“I know you are up.” I hear his deep husky voice which contains a hint of humour. I sheepishly look up into his deep green eyes, making him chuckle. “Good Morning, princess.” He says in a husky whisper.

I feel the heat creeping up to my cheeks at the endearment but I maintain my composure as I look directly into his eyes.

I am Aviana the great! I am not one who gets embarrassed easily. I am someone who embarrasses people with ease!

And I’ll show that to h
