Chapter 21: Kayden

“What are you doing now?” I ask when I hear the loud background noise as Aviana picks up my call.

I can hear people shouting in the background and it sounds like a big crowd.

I smile as I think about how serious she was last time about protesting about French fries.

This girl is seriously unlike anyone I've ever met!

“Hey! I am not the one who got all these people here! It was Jared!” She says in a defensive tone.

I can almost imagine the pout she must be sporting right at this moment.

I chuckle and shake my head.

“What is happening there?” I ask her.

I hear some shuffling from the other end before the background voices become a little lesser. Aviana sighs tiredly on the other end before she replies.

“Jared got a project in which he’s making a small movie with a friend. Half of the movie is completed so they had to gather a little crowd to see it. That idiot told everyone that our band will be singing live and now almost the whole college is here. Even a few teachers are here.” Sh
