Alora’s POV

I felt so drawn to Morgan right from when I woke up from the woods. I knew I was attracted to him, but after the Blood Moon incident, it felt like the feelings had intensified so much that I had no control over my feelings. Only God knew what would have happened if Violet had not interrupted us.

Violet stood at the doorway with a blank expression on her face. With arms crossed above her chest, her gaze moved from me to Morgan.

“The elders have gathered”. She said flatly, as if addressing errant children. “They’ve ordered you to come. With... her.” she spat, looking at me from head to toe.

Without waiting for a response, she stormed out, closing the door with a force that shook the whole mansion.

Morgan heaved a sigh before turning to me. “We’ve been summoned by the council, so we must go.”

“The council?” I repeated, alarm tightening my throat. “Why would they want to see me?”

His voice softened, but only slightly. “You’re my fated mate. ""It’s tradition to present you to t

  • Alora: My Hybrid Luna   Chapter 102: Barefoot at Midnight

Chloe’s POVI stood by the river bank barefoot, watching the sun set on the horizon. It was past midnight, the sky was thick with stars. It was the kind of night that makes memories flare within me.Water was my comfort place. It had been a hectic day, and I needed to cool off before going back to the pack to rest for the day. I peeled off my clothes one layer at a time, shedding the suffocating weight of the day, until I stood in nothing but my black underwear. My feet sank into the cold water, the sensation of the cold and warm rushing through my being like a tidal wave. Here, I was myself, with no thoughts whatsoever. I smiled and exhaled slowly as I made my way into the body of water. I was halfway in when I heard a twig to my left. My instincts flared, and I turned sharply, trying to decipher what would have made such a sound. I looked around. The sound came again, this time louder. I was about to turn around and walk back out when I felt a hand on my shoulders. The hand

  • Alora: My Hybrid Luna   CHAPTER 101: I Love You

Alora’s POVI woke up to sunlight filtering in through the curtain of a room that looked and smelt nothing like mine.Where was I? I looked around, trying to make sense of my environment. The bed was so soft and it was breathing.Wait. what!My eyes widened and I jerked around.A gasp escaped my lips.Whatever I was lying on was not a mattress. It was hard and warm and moving up and down. I was lying on the chest of a very, very muscular sleeping man. I looked at his face.Oh my God. It was Morgan. My mouth tasted like cotton balls, and my head pounded like a bitch. I tried to gulp, but my throat was painfully dry. I looked around and spotted a bottle of water. I opened it and gulped down like my life depended on it.Morgan stirred beside me, his arm draped across my waist, tightening slightly, I tried to peel him away from my waist, but the harder I tried, the harder he burrowed into me. Now his whole body was draped around me, his face nuzzling into my neck.I pulled the duve

  • Alora: My Hybrid Luna   CHAPTER 100: Burning for Her

Morgan's POVWhen I finally pulled into the hotel parking lot, I lifted her into my arms again. She clung to me, her legs wrapped around my waist as I took the private elevator straight up to my suite. She pressed kisses along my neck, licking the skin just above my collar, and whimpering while at it."You smell so good,” she said, moaning softly.I groaned, opening the door with my key card and stepping inside the room.I dropped her on the couch and went back to lock the door.Coming back, Alora stood only in her lace underwear.I held my head in my hands. She looked disheveled, her hair stood on ends, and she smiled like she liked how disoriented she made me feel.I turned away.“Look at me, Morgan.”F*ck.I looked. She was bare except for the lacy black bra and panties that made my entire body seize with hunger. “Alora,” I said, jaw clenched so hard it ached, “don’t do this.”But her eyes were lidded and heavy with desire. She reached for me again, and Ragnar surged forward, snar

  • Alora: My Hybrid Luna   CHAPTER 99: She Called for Me

Morgan’s POVRagnar had been restless since we saw her at the facility, but I had ignored it. She wasn’t ready to be with me or forgive me yet and that was totally fine. I will give her till the end of this week. By Monday, I would have no choice but to force my way back into her life. She was mine, and I would not let her out of my grip. Not this time, not when I had waited forever for her. I missed her so much it hurt. As the sun went down, Ragnar became more restless, pacing inside me like a storm cloud just waiting to crack open. I’d ignored it during the day, but I couldn’t keep ignoring him. Maybe this was a warning sign. I checked the time, and it was almost midnight. Ragnar was still pacing, which made it hard to catch sleep. So I called Ryan immediately to be sure everything was alright. He didn't pick up my calls. It was out of character for Ryan not to pick up. All of a sudden, the pendant Alora had given me during the pre-birthday ritual began to heat up my skin.

  • Alora: My Hybrid Luna   CHAPTER 98: No Exit

Alora’s POVI arrived at Phoebe’s, and met her in the kitchen, digging into leftover pasta straight from the pan.Immediately she saw me, she ran to me and enveloped me in a hug.“That’s my celebrity doctor,” she squealed.“I’m so proud of you”“Thank you” I replied, hugging her in return.I looked up at her. “You look suspiciously chipper,” I said, raising a brow. She smiled up at me. “I have news.”I leaned against the kitchen counter. “You always have news.”“This one’s good-good. Ryan asked me out tonight.”I blinked. “You just had dinner with him last week.”“I know,” she said, shrugging as if it wasn’t a big deal. But it was nice. He was actually… respectful. Charming. Not just trying to impress me. I think I want to give it a chance.”I jumped onto the counter, smiling. “So you’re going out on a second date?”Her eyes glinted. “We’re going to a club.”I froze. “A club?”“You’re coming with me.”I laughed. “Absolutely not.”“You are!” she insisted. “Don’t make me beg. I already

  • Alora: My Hybrid Luna   CHAPTER 97: Star Girl

Alora’s POVI could smell the weekend energy as I strolled into the lobby of NovaMeds, my new workplace. Everybody had a hopeful look in their eyes and the entire place had a more relaxed atmosphere than a normal weekday. As soon as the elevator doors opened, and I stepped out, Ava waved at me from behind her desk.“Morning, star girl,” she said, grinning.I blinked. “Star girl?”She winked. “Yes, I can’t believe you’re already trending.”I furrowed my brows. “Trending? What did I do”? I asked, my heart beginning to thud in my chest. She smiled like she was hiding something before nodding towards the far end of the corridor. “Dr. Hernandez is in the staff hub. He said to send you in when you arrive.”My brows drew together. “Did I do something wrong?”She gave a small smile that was meant to relax me but agitated me instead.“Ava, please give me a heads-up". I pleaded.“Trust me,” she said, lowering her voice, “you’ll want to be there.”I swallowed down the knot in my throat and wal
