Arturo:

I watched as the man fumbled to find the right words to respond to my wife’s question. And I had to admit, I was more than thankful for the fact that she managed to keep her act of being strong despite the pain that she was in.

If anything, I didn’t want to pressure her to do something that she didn’t want to do; however, I knew that this was important, and seeing as she insisted on doing it, I knew not to tell her against it. It was good that she was putting the man in place. Us being mates was something that we chose to hide, but now, considering that things reached to this point, we thought that it would be best to voice it out.

“I believe that my wife has asked you a question, Marcus.” I said, crossing my arms over my chest. His eyes studied my expression. “And she expects an answer.”

“The woman has not been around the pack…”

“Her father, YOUR Alpha, was alive. Hence the fact that she didn’t need to be around. But now, I do believe that she can be around the pack.” I sai
