35. The monster within
Daryl and Alpha Christian shift immediately shortly followed by the rest of the pack. Daryl’s large black wolf and Alpha Christians deep brown wolf move together, shoulder to shoulder as the others fall into a line blocking me from view.
Jordan pulls me down to the ground and shifts into her sandy wolf “You are in danger” she mind links me. “Alpha Daryl wants you out of here now!”
“It’s to late for that, he already knows I am here, that’s why he chose now” Jordans big eyes search my face trying to understand what I was saying “Someone is feeding him information”
From the ground I could barely see what was happening, protected by so many wolves and more joining by the second. Daryl had called in the neighbouring pack who also had been having a problem with Hayden.
As more wolves positioned themselves between Hayden’s pack and me, Jordan guides me away, using the coverage of the wolves.

16th September 2021 Hey everyone, Thank you all so much for reading this far, I really appreciate it and would be grateful for any feedback. Daryl and Paige had changed the subject once I had declared my intent, often giving me worrying glances but I had already decided that I wasn’t going to be this feeble weakling anymore and that I was going to train harder than anyone else. I kept my mouth shut as they talked, mostly about the curse, Paige told Daryl that she had been in touch with another witch who may be able to help but I was worried. With Paige it was different, they had grown up together, maybe that’s why they had respect for each other but bringing in a new witch that had no connections had me feeling uneasy and I knew Daryl could feel my thoughts on it. I don’t run, something tells me that Daryl will come after me if he hears or senses me running, but I walk quickly whilst making my way through the hallways, I still had a job to remember where I was going but it was getting a little easier each day. Heading out the front door, I check behind me, there was still no sign of Daryl but I was certain he would be watching me or have others watching.
