Chapter Forty-Four

I’m about to lose it, this little minx. I can't wait until tonight; it's going to be like a kid at Christmas. I’m already sporting a boner just from her arms wrapped around me and her scent filling my nose. I'm going to lose my mind before tonight.

Meanwhile, I hear John next to us with Annie in his lap and his hand over her stomach. He whispers to her low enough to wear I barely hear him, so I know Alex didn't hear it.

“Did you tell her yet?”

She shakes her head no like she is afraid Alex would be disappointed or something.

“I was waiting for you to tell Jaxson first, I wanted to see how he took it.”

Why would she be waiting for my approval? Maybe she feels like that because I’m her Alpha. I turn to look at her and give her a slight nod and a smile, showing that I am beyond happy for them.
