Chapter Sixteen: Bonding?

Killian’s POV

It was almost as if from the moment that Ciro had forced me to confess the still-existing bond between me and the human girl, all I had thought about was her. I had even allowed myself to head over to the clothing and design unit of the pack like some hopeless man in love.

Yet, the sight of her as she made those dresses that Luke couldn’t stop babbling about and how serious she was, was etched in my mind. I had to confess that it had made me see her in a slightly different light, after all, I knew that there were very few girls that were willing to work that hard. Surely she could handle the pack, right?

“What has your pants in a knot?” Ciro said as he settled in the seat beside me. My brows furrowed as I picked the scent of my mate on him.

“Where are you coming from?” I asked as I shot him an accusatory glare.

“I know you can smell Erika on me. I initially planned to stop by Luke’s place with his portion of the food I made but then I saw your ‘mate’ being bullied
