2025-06-30 02:00:24I stopped in front of the closed office door and knocked. Shortly after, it opened to reveal Luna Dawn. She motioned for me to come in. I saw Jasher and Genesis standing side by side, facing the principal, who was sitting on the couch.
Why are Genesis and Jasher here?
"Don't be scared, Bernice. The principal just wants to clarify their statements," Luna Dawn whispered.
Statements? That only made my anxiety worse.
"Come here, Bernice," the principal called out.
I stood at a distance from Genesis and Jasher. From the corner of my eye, I saw them both holding firm expressions with clenched jaws.
"I'm a little confused about this situation," the principal said, clearing his throat. "Both of them admitted that they were the ones who drew the sketch from that leaked journal."
"They what?"
"But they weren't the ones who spread it, Alpha," Luna Dawn said in defense. "Someone else did that—irresponsibly and intentionally."
