Airen's POV Rachel and I sat in the kitchen talking for a while. She sipped her coffee while I chugged glass after glass of water. No matter how much water I drank I didn't feel any better. Airen's POV When I first woke up I didn't want to move. Not because I was in pain, but because I was so comfortable. I was surrounded by a heavenly warmth that made me feel safe. Airen's POV Once the dishes were done I finished cleaning the kitchen by wiping off all of the counters. I then washed my hands and dried them on a kitchen towel. Airen's POV I don't know why I agreed to stay in his room, and more specifically, his bed other than I knew I had a choice. All day the feeling of being trapped had followed me like a dark cloud. Fear and the invisible pressure of becoming a werewolf's mate became heavier and heavier throughout the day. And not just any werewolf's mate, but an Alpha's mate and one of the world's most feared Alpha's at that. Past experiences made me fearful of commitment and long for freedom.
