Airen's POV

What did I just do?

I stood there, stunned. I had just said that Johnathan would be sticking around. For a while. And that we would be seeing more of him. What had I just done?

The whole point of me not looking for him this whole time was that I didn't want him involved in my life. And what about James?

I internally groaned. I didn't know how, but I was going to have to keep them away from each other for the next two days. At least until I could figure out how to fix this.

'I could always run.'

The thought had crossed my mind. My family had reached a point where I wasn't really needed as much anymore. Yes, Dad was still very weak but he was slowly getting better and he was working from home now. Between him, Mom, Elena, and Elena's husband they could handle my grandparents. And with my job, I could work from anywhere.

A plan began to slowly form in my head.

A tug on my hand pulled me out of my thoughts.
