Chapter 96 | The End

I waited eagerly for Maven to return home.

I was so happy when I got his call and he said that everything went smoothly. He told me about all the drama and I agreed with him. It sounds off. Cora made it seem like Kyle was this bloodthirsty maniac, but... he wasn't.

It doesn't matter. All of this is finally over.

I sit in our room staring at the ultrasound picture I got today. It turns out I'm further along than I thought. I'm almost halfway through the pregnancy. The baby is measuring and looking great. It is definitely a girl, just like Cora said!

But the crazy thought is that it's only a couple of months before I give birth and our little Magnolia Jade will join us.

When Maven gets home, I show him the ultrasound, and he cried, but by the next morning he went into a full on dad panic mode. He started doing everything he could to prep for her arrival.

Three months passed.

It was a long labor, but I finally gave birth the Magnolia Jade Knight. She looked exactly like her daddy.
