Chapter fifty
I wake up to feel the warm of Dax's arms around me. For the first few seconds I forgot what had happened yesterday and then it all came flooding back to me. I needed to find out some answers today.
I slowly pull one of his arms off me and creep out of the bed. I just into the shower and have a quick one wanting to get my day started. As I'm getting dressed I look at Dax who looks so peaceful when he is sleeping. I don't wake him up as I know he needs the sleep. He will be mad at me later for not waking him up though.

"You up for coming with me to a few places today."
"Anytime, anywhere Luna." I roll my eyes at the Luna comment vowing to one day get her to call me Aurora or Rory and I tell her where to meet me.
I write a quick note to Dax letting him know I was out and where I was going and that I have Sue with me so he wouldn't be worried about me.

After our amazing sex I start filling Dax in on everything my Mum had told us. He wasn't too pleased about all the lies, but he could understand why she did it.The next couple of week were spent just trying to sort everything out after the fight. No no, this couldn't be happening what the hell are they doing with my Mum. I froze not knowing what to do. I couldn't get free of the chains and I couldn't feel my wolf or my powers. I didn't want to leave my Mum behind, but the only chance I would have to get away could be now and my Mum died to save me I couldn't let that go to waste by staying with her and dying now.I had to wait for the silver to wear off so that I could mind link Dax until then I was now completely on my own.Giving her one last hug and kiss on the cheek, I stand up with tears in my eyes. Dax threw me onto the ground with a hard landing and then covered me with his body to make sure I wasn't getting hit with the bullets that were flying all around us.As I lay there I could see our wolves getting hit and I wasn't liking this one bit, if they had silver knives the chances are they might have silver bullets, so our wolves wouldn't make it with a silver bullet inside them we would have a very short period of time to remove the bullet before the silver had spread too far in their body and then nothing we did would help them.No matter how good we are at fighting or how fast we are we couldn't win against silver bullets. Sitting down with Richard and Riggs in front of me, I didn't know how to say the words to them. How do I tell them out Mum is dead and she is gone because she saved me so it is all my fault. Waking up I feel the warmth of Dax's body against mine just like it is every morning. I lay there and remember that I was meeting Sue for a coffee this morning, so I throw my arm out of the covers and feel around for my phone off the bedside table and open on eye to look at the time. Seeing that I had just over an hour to meet her I snuggle back in to Dax for twenty more minutes before slowly getting out of the bed so I don't wake Dax and get ready to go.Before I set off I kiss Dax, he wakes up and grabs me to stop me from going.
