Prologue

The abyssal darkness stretch to the horizon in the not so dark night, overheading the busy street of the city. The shadows ate up all the stars that suppose to twinkle above and left a neverending loop of darkness in the position that they once have shined.

But their is one brightness that they couldn't swallow, a silver orb of beauty and mystery that lingered throughout the darkness with it's fullest light. We called her the moon and she shined brighter than a thousand stars.

Then below the night city sky, is a crowded bar of flickering rainbows and discos. There came out a wealthy man with a beautiful lady in spotlight. The man have two buff bodyguards by his side and is approaching his white shiny limousine of luxury.

The man smiled and laughed along with the enchantress lady dangling by his shoulder like a precious accessory. Unfortunately, Neither of them knows that this is their last glee and the rest will be fear.

Just not far away, a high building towered a land just beneath the moon. In it's rooftop stands a another woman associated with death. She wore a black mask on her profile and holds a sniper gun in her hands.

She aimed to the beautiful woman and pulled the trigger without wasting time. The bullet immediately hit the woman's forehead like lighting, causing her instant death.

The woman stumbled to the ground with a thud and then leak in her head is crimson liquid known as blood. It's dripping faster like a coursing river and soon she will be in a pool of roses.

The man's face twitch in fear and he scream. The bodyguards then came alarmed and covered their boss. They tried to pull their guns out but before they could even grip the handle two bullets then came flying pass their heads like thorns, and they fall instantly to the ground in silence.

The man screamed for help as he ran like a horse to his car. But before he could get near, his throat got rip by the same bullet that flew by.

One bullet per person, that's the achievement that the assassin have earned through her shot.

Blue and red lights then lighted the evening with sirens and chattering citizens. Cops and detectives came to check the crime seen and immediately declared the victims dead on the spot.

They tried to find the sniper but she wasn't there anymore though, she's now in her hotel room watching the scenery of the bright moon through her big glass window. With a glass of wine in her right and a smoking cigarette in her left.

"Another murder strikes again tonight, having four victims killed right in the spot..." A reporter's voice echoed throughout Mayari's room.

She let the television on again and didn't bother herself to turn it off.

Her phone suddenly rang in her pocket, she put aside her glass on the the table and grabbed it. She look at the number and instantly knew who is calling, Oliver Daias, the secretary of her father.

She accepted the call and a familiar masculine voice then called his name from the other line.

"Mayari?"

"Speaking." She answered.

"Have you already killed the target?"

"Yes."

"Your father, have asked you to fly back and meet him at his usual villa." Oliver informed.

"And to why should I bother?" She asked in complete coldness of tone.

"He didn't state the reason." He replied.

"Why couldn't he just call me and said through online connection." Mayari stated emotionlessly.

Mayari then heard a chuckle from Oliver, "Still cold blooded as ever Ms. Mayari? but that won't work with your father. Obey him or face the consequences." he threatened

"You already know what will happen if a slave like you disobey her master." He added.

"I'll be there." Mayari then hang up the call. Then continued to sip on her wine and smoke.

After that she throw herself to bed and let her nightmares begin.

But there is something agonizing about her dream, because this is not just a normal made up movie by her head, this a nightmare depicted by her own memories of childhood both sadness and glee.

She was awaken by the screech of a glass being smash to pieces after hitting the hard floor. She tried to sleep back but more shattering noises stabbed her ears like knives.

Little Mayari yawned and sluggishly get out of bed. She tip toed out of her room, eager to know what is happening downstairs.

She took her steps to the stairway and saw light illuminating from the kitchen's entrance, stinging slightly her eyes. She rub her eyes repeatedly and let it adjust to the brightness for a second before continuing to go down.

She could also see the shadows of two familiar figures moving in the light. She could hear voices of her parents arguing but she couldn't make out of the words cause she was still half asleep.

Finally, she have reached the kitchen. And as her vision revealed the commotion, her eyes then turned round as her body froze from fear and shock.

Six gunshot then echoed in her ears like thunder, then a thud came loudly vibrating against the kitchen floor.

Crimson liquid then started to course through the tiles and smoothly overrun to Mayari's feet, soaking her bare skin with red tint but she didn't dare to look down as her gaze was fixated by something more horrifying.

Reflected by her traumatize irises, like a mirror in clear moonlight, she could see her father holding out a smoking gun, and her mother laying on the floor with a pool of bloody roses beneath her lifeless corpse.

Mayari's breath became shaky as hot streaming tears came flowing down her eyes. She tried to say something but her voice failed to come out and only made a yelp.

Her father's eyes then turned to her and showed a disgusting smile of pleasure and blood.

Frightened by the event that came across her view she couldn't help herself but to scream in terror.

"Ahhhhh!"
