Ch. 25 Burning Up

Ryan's POV

I felt like I was on fire! Still half asleep, I struggled to understand what was happening. Why did I feel like I was being burned alive? As my eyes adjusted to the dark, I glanced down to see my beautiful angel draped over me, having shifted in her sleep. Coming fully awake, it finally clicked. She was burning me! Her fever had spiked and she was on fire!
