"Are you going to be long?" Damon asked, "I want to go feed, but, I need to make sure you're home first" he explained

"Because the house doesn't belong to you, it sees you as a guest, therefore you cannot enter, unless I'm there" he explained a little bit better

"Well, give me your keys then, I'll let myself in" I offered, really wanting to stay here and read

"I don't have keys, that's a mortal thing, the house recognises me, and let's me in, otherwise its locked" I was fascinated, but also upset

"But I really want to read" I moaned sounding like a ten year old

"Then bring the book with you" Damon said, sounding bored, he went behind me and picked up the book, handing it to me, I held it to my chest and shook my head

" I can't, I don't even have a library card" I was sad
