Rejection

After Pareios had closed the large steel sliding door behind him, Markus fixed it with his amber eyes. "Is there anything else you haven't told me about your vision?" The tone of voice was still gentle. Markus caught his flies with sweet honey, to which they then stuck.

She tried to make an innocent face and suddenly her gift opened up a way for her. Now she knew how to get around it!

 "Nothing that is of primary importance for the stones." That wasn't a lie, at least she didn't know whether it was so or not, and so she could honestly accept it.

"Aha, and what was that now?" He urged her to continue reporting.

“I'd rather keep that to myself, it's very private.” That wasn't a lie either, after all, the confusing feelings primarily concerned her. Markus smelled the roast, of course, just as intended. Skepticism was written on his face. He took the test bite on the bait, so to speak. "More precisely, please!" He smiled winningly now.
