Evelyn's POV

Madayaka is a beautiful and glamorous place for our honeymoon. So, I understood why our grandparents sent us there for our honeymoon.

What they don't know is that I had an agreement with Alex. So, this honeymoon is just a break from work and nothing else.

Our stay in Madayaka was just normal. No intimacy of any sort. We slept in different rooms. However, we go out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner together as a couple that we are.

People see us as a perfect couple outside of our suite. But we knew better.

Here is our honeymoon routine.

Day 1: We arrived at our destination. Madayaka. We checked into a luxurious hotel and our suite.

In the afternoon. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch in the hotel's fine restaurant. In the evening. We took a relaxing stroll around the Marina to admire the superyachts and the stunning view of the sea. It was beautiful as we also had dinner in one of the yachts.

And so it's how our first day went and we slept in different rooms.

    Evelyn's POV I stepped out of the van. Alex was there to catch me just in time when I nearly fell. Are you doing alright? His face was filled with concern as he asked. "I am alright," I answered. I have no idea if I am okay. I simply do not want to frighten him. I felt sick to my stomach and my entire body started to weaken. Taking in our surroundings, I noticed two cars. Violet's car struck me as recognizable. However, I do not know the second vehicle. I shifted my gaze to Alex. And he was staring at me. "We may have some guests, I believe." He explained it to me, and I nodded. Something about the way I moved felt strange to Alex. So, he gave me his support as he wrapped his hands around my waist leading me inside. "Thanks," I breathed. He knew that something was off, but he decided to let it be. As soon as we entered. I grudgingly rolled my eyes at the person when a familiar scream filled the entire house.     Evelyn narrated her story to her grandfather who was somehow happy that Evelyn had found her father. She has made his job easier for him. "I want to meet him. I want to set everything right.
