Special something

Alexis visit got me a little suspicious, is everything okay?, I asked and the next morning, I strolled down and saw Maria Jose ambling out from her room, holding a bed sheet.

I hid behind the stairs to surprise her, rather she gave me a surprise, by rolling down the stairs in an unconscious state.

"Maria Jose?".

I ran to her aid, dad and everyone at home all rushed out, they  dropped a pause seeing what just arose.

Immediately Keith ran to call the doctor and I took Maria up to her room, a while later, the doctor came and administered some drugs to her.

Thankfully nothing's broken, but the pending question is what the hell happened?, Who would benefit if something happened to  her?.

( Thinking out loud)

"Alexis?" ( Frowns)

I'm going to kill her before she gets her hands on Maria Jose.

I excused myself and went straight to her room, luckily she wasn't found in but it seems she was headed my way and we both bumped into each other.

"C... Chris?".

She starmmered trying to grabs the look on my face.

"Come with me?"

I held her hand and forcefully dragged her into her room.

She falls a friwn and turned around to meet my furious gaze.

"What are you doing Chris?", She says

I growled sensing she was trying to play a fast one on me. "You've got to me kidding me?".  I said swifly making my way to her.

She revamped and kept on crafting distance between us, unfortunately her path was blocked and I got up dragged her back to me.

"Leave me Chris?". Her hand squeezed up with mine.

"Why should I?, Tell me truth, what the hell happened to Maria Jose?".

( My words to her)

She folds her eyes and moved his away from my gaze, "what happened?". I recalled my previous statement weaving her back to me.

And she goes, starmmering, "I..I..I...don't know?".

"You're lying?", I said

"I'm not?". Alexis continued and the more she keep on saying nothing happened, the sooner I loose my anger.

Thereafter, Keith walked in, and told on Maria Jose has regained consciousness, thus following that up, I pushed Alexis off and went to her.

At the sound of my feet ambling father away, Keith turns to Alexis, "I know you did it", he says sewing back her gaze.

"Excuse me?, As usual she plays with his intelligence.

Keith fold his hand, and tapped his feet awaiting further to hear the truth..

She noticed and began laughing.

"Fine, I did". Later on gave in the pending truth to him.

Keith smiles and said, "why?, Do you perhaps not want my bro to get married to Maria Jose?".

He gets her face drooling in her response, "as if you want him to be the owner of master Leonard's inheritance?". She says

"Excuse me?", He recalled her statement and she reels in with a response. "I know you're trying to get back at Chris?, You don't see him as a brother but a barrier, I'm I wrong?"..

"No?" Keith confirmed without hesitation.

"Then, what are we saying? How about we come into an agreement!! I'll help you get your lost inheritance, if you help me get back at Maria Jose?".

In return he says, " okay then!! Let the games begin".

( Unfroze and left her smiling evily).
