Trapped

Pinky asked me to walk her to her bedroom. I didn't want to sound rude by asking why so I left with her

On the way, we bumped into Abhishek, he gets a double-minded attitude by asking what was happening.

Pinky ran ahead and hugged him. She turned right after and gave him the good news that we were now friends.

Abhishek went all quiet, he looked at me with an eyebrow up and asked me if this was true.

I shook my head and he nodded and walked Pinky to her bedroom.

I thought the drama had ended but when I turned around to leave, I met Mrs. Anuradha standing before me.

She held a prayer train facing me.

"Oh, I'm guessing you now know who Pinky is,"...

She looks at me.

I shook my head and smiled, I wanted to go around her but he shifted and blocked my path yet again.

I inhaled and looked up to her gaze.

"What is all this," I frowned.

Mrs. Anuradha laughed at me, she asked if I was gradually becoming jealous of the fact that Abhishek is now with his girlfriend.

It's either Mrs. Anuradha is crazy or has a nut out of her head, why do I care if Abhishek has a girlfriend, after all, I have no feelings for him.

"Please excuse me,".

I left her without altering a single word. I took a step down when a hand grabbed my clothes and pushed me down.

Immediately I lost balance and I tripped rolling down the stairs.

Mr. Adam was seated in the living room and he shouted at the scene.

Everyone comes outside to look, Avanti runs out of her bedroom and she finds me rolling downstairs.

"Javelin,"

She screamed and came after me.

Abhishek followed, running to save me.

Mr. Adam came first and grabbed my head from heating the ground, I looked at him and due to the shock, I went unconscious.

I didn't know what happened that period I wasn't unconscious. However, I woke up and found myself inside my bedroom.

Avanti walks in right after and she comes in with the rest of the family.

The doctor also walks in after Mrs. Anuradha.

He was instructed by Abhishek to run some checks on me.

The doctor informed me I had no internal injuries but a good night's rest would do me a lot of good.

Abhishek thanked the doctor and walked out with him.

Mr. Ajay asked his wife to go into the kitchen and get me some warm milk.

She looks a little at me before leaving.

Pinky came and asked me if I was okay, I shook my head a little and she went out with Mrs. Anuradha.

Mr. Ajay left afterward and I was left alone with Avanti.

Avanti pulled her chair a little and asked me for the truth.

"Tell me something javelin, what happened to you?"

She looked into my eyes.

"What do you mean, I don't understand,"

I replied, trying to hide the fact that her mom was the one who pushed me.

I had no option but to lie to my best friend that I had tripped and fallen down the stairs.

Avanti however didn't believe it, she swore that someone had pushed me down the stairs.

I kept on lying but the more I did, the stronger she got the hint that someone had me pushed down the stairs.

"Javelin,"

Abhishek walks in.

Avanti immediately got up and left the room, Abhishek looked at her as she left.

He had a gloom on his face that proved to me how much he was hurting.

"Abhishek,"

I pulled up a little from the bed.

Abhishek got himself together and came to me.

He placed his hands on my forehead and asked if I was having any fever.

I pulled his hands away and begged him to the seat.

Abhishek sat and was persuaded to know why I had asked him to the seat.

I thought since he asked, why don't I seek the truth behind my reason for asking him to the seat?

"Abhishek, can you tell me what happened between Karan's sister and you,"

I said

Abhishek immediately gets up infuriated by the question, he sends his tone on a high pitch and turns around to leave.

He walked close to the door as I looked at him, there was no way I would be letting him leave without knowing the truth.

I got up from the bed and ran after him.

Abhishek grabbed the doorknob, but I got close on time and slammed his hands away from touching it.

He turns around furious, " Javelin, what is your problem, why do you want to know the truth,".

He pushed me away.

I got angry not because he pushed me away but the fact that while he spoke he called me just his sister's Friend.

That word made me angry.

I grabbed him by his shirt and squeezed it, I warned Abhishek with so much anger in my eyes and made him understand that the relationship isn't only built by blood, friendship is also another of our relationship.

Avanti and I might not be sure of the same blood but she has become my sister and I will never let anyone or anything take her happiness away.

Abhishek never alters a word out.

He lowered his head down and fell to the ground.

"I'm sorry javelin, but I can't tell you the truth, it's too painful,"

Abhishek clenched his hands.

I knelt next to him and lifted his gaze.

"Why can't you, do you know what is happening to your sister, she's in pain,"

I replied.

Abhishek said he knew how much his sister was in pain, but there was nothing he could do for her, the truth was too painful to recall.

I asked him if seeing his sister's hate for him won't change his mind.

He nods and pulls up from the ground.

"Javelin, I love my sister, but there's more to the truth than what Karan told you,"

Abhishek said and left me curious.
