BROKEN (MONTEMAYOR SERIES1)

I just have a simple life. Natalia De vera is my name.The only daughter of Lisa Rose De vera. My father died two years ago. We are content with our simple lifestyle. I'm now second year in college at Harvard Montemayor University, which is owned by Montemayors .

I study hard coz’ I want to graduate. I just want a simple life as long as it is quiet and free.

Hindi ako madaldal , tahimik akong tao , at mahinhin sabi nila.Hindi ako katangkaran , maputi ako dahil namana ko sa aking mama. Matangos ang ilong at perfect eye brows daw sabi ni Kylie at Jenner. Mga kaibigan  ko sila since high school.Maarte sila ,pero mabait. Sanay naman ako sa pagiging party goers nila.

My cellphone vibrated while arranging my belongings for tomorrow. Kylie called so I answered right away.

"Yes?" sagot ko at ipinagpatuloy ang pag-aayos. Inipit ko sa pagitan ng balikat at tenga ang aking cellphone.

"Hey! Anong ginagawa mo?" tanong niya sa kabilang linya.

"Nag-aayos ng kailangan para bukas," I said sweetly.

"Really? What color is your bag? " She asked me happily. This is her again. She loves girly stuffs.

"It's nude. Si mama ang bumili.Simple lang naman ito. By the way can you pick me up tomorrow?" 

I don't have a car. Well, we have an extra but I can't drive.

"Of course! ‘Yan naman ang naisip ko. Susunduin ko kayo ni Jen." aniya sa kabilang linya.  

I smiled, "Alright. Kailangan ko rin naman siyang kausapin dahil gusto ko sanang mag-apply sa bistro nila. Babalik ako sa pagkanta," 

Hobby ko kase ang mag gitara at kumanta.Tsaka’  iba din kapag ang luho mo ay galing sa pagod mo. Sabi nga ni mama , mana ako kay  papa. Kahit hindi na kailangan ng pera , nag ‘tatrabaho parin.

"That's good! Para naman may libangan kami ni Jen while having a shots there. Favorite ko din naman kase ‘yung boses mo! Nakakamiss na ‘yung pagsali mo sa singing contest way back our high school days.I still remember na halos mapuno ‘yung room natin nang kumanta ka. And take note eighty percent yata ng room ay puro manliligaw mo.! But ofcourse lahat sila basted!"

"So, anong oras mo ako susunduin bukas?" putol ko sa istorya niya para hindi na humaba.

"Eight AM. Sige, tawagan ko muna si Jen ha. Bye!" 

I turned off my phone immediately. I went inside the bathroom to do my things para mkatulog na.Eight AM ‘yung first schedule ko bukas.

When I was lying down I first did facebook. I just scroll the scroll when I hit a group picture. I don't know if this is my friend but I can see it here in my newsfeeds. I looked at it one by one and one face was quite familiar to me. I just don't really remember the one next to him. They almost just look alike. They are both very handsome. The tagged name is written above.

Kumalabog ang puso ko bigla. Nalagay ko ang cellphone sa aking dibdib.   

"Montemayor," I uttered out of myself. Damn. Why it bothered me? Hayaan na nga.Actually nakikita ko naman sila minsan sa mga malls at sa daan. Pero ngayon iisa nalang ang school namin.First year college kasi kami ay sa St.Dominic pa ako noon  nag aaral. Pero hinikayat ako ng dalawa kong kaibigan na mas maganda daw sa HMU. Kaya nag-transfer ako ngayon.

Bukas na pala ang aming unang klase. Excited akong malaman kung ano ang kaibahan ng tinuturo ng St. Dominic kumpara  sa HMU.Pag nagkataon ay sasali ako sa mga quizbee nila. 

I like books so much. Nako-curious ako sa mga storya tungkol sa mundo. Kung sinu-sino ang mga taong nauna dito sa mundo bago tayo. Kung ano ang mga mukha ng mga lugar noon kumpara ngayon.   

In my previous school I was told I was a nerd. Because I have a reading glass and always carry a book. It's better than to fuck around right? It's also annoying because I don't have many friends. Because Jenn and Kylie's school is different.

Now is the first day of school. Since we have one week to wear our own fashion before wearing the uniform. I wear a high waist fitted black jeans and a white strappy top. Matching with a black doll shoes .I let my hair down a bit curly and slightly wavy waves. I slung my nude bag over my shoulder. I went downstairs when my cellphone rang.

 "Ma?" sagot ko habang pababa ng hagdan. 

"Natalia, I left early.Marami akong gagawin."  

"Okay po ma. I love you po." 

"I love you too sweety.Kumain ka bago umalis," binaba niya agad ang tawag. Palagi naman ganito ang scenario nang buhay ko. Simula noong namatay si papa e' palagi nalang siyang nalulong sa trabaho.Maybe because gusto niya lang aliwin ang sarili niya? Kita ko noon kung paano siya nagdusa at nalungkot nang nawala si Papa. 

We are all just like dust in this world. It will not last long and will disappear as well. Suppose we're just a passers-by. So they said while they were young, have fun. Do what needs to be done. Do not waste time on sad things because you do not know how long your time in this world is.

So ganon' siguro si mama? Ginawa niyang busy ang sarili niya sa trabaho. Pero hindi naman siya nagkulang sa akin ng oras. ‘Yun lang minsan kasi ' nag-aabroad sila. Dahil narin sa business deals and gatherings. Kaya halos minsan ako nalang mag-isa dito sa bahay.  

Pumunta ako sa kusina at kumain.May nakahain ng pagkain sa mesa. Yaya Lagring made this for me.Palagi naman siya ang nag luluto sa akin.Simula pa nang bata ako siya na ang nag-aalaga sa akin.

"Hey! '' I exclaimed when I answered the call and at the same time ‘honking the horn outside so I looked out the window .  

"We're here outside. Bilis na diyan!" Tili ni Jen ang narinig ko sa kabilang linya.I rolled my eyes.

"Oh! Okay wait!  I'm coming," Sabi ko sabay abot nang sandwich at uminom ng juice. Shit! Hindi ako makapag almusal ng maayos! Bahala na sa school na nga lang! Pagka labas ko nakita ko agad ang Black Honda Civic ni Kylie. Sinundo niya pala si Jen.   

Pasalampak akong umupo sa backseat. Si Kylie ang nag da drive.Si Jenner ang sa front seat.

"So our first day in college is gonna be fun!" Jen exclaimed excitedly with a smile on her face.   

Binalingan ako ni Kylie. "Ang ganda mo talaga Natalia ! No doubt, marami kang manliligaw doon!"  puri niya sa akin.

"And ofcourse! Ang ganda ng katawan!" dagdag pa ni Jenny. Shit ang aga nilang nambola.  

"Cut it off girls!  Ang aga aga e'. Baka humaba ang tenga ko niyan!" I mocked.

"Totoo naman ah!" Sabi ni Jen ky Kylie habang kinukuha 'yung press powder niya.  

"Yeah right!" I exclaimed at inayos ang pagkakaupo at nagkalikot nang kung ano ano sa cellphone ko.Hindi ko alam kung paano nagsimula ang aming pagkakaibigan. Basta isang araw nalang, nakasanayan na namin na magkasama kaming tatlo.Kahit naman kasi pasaway sila e'. Hindi sila pabaya sa pag-aaral nila. 

We both took Business Ad courses. We just got Kylie's car down in the parking lot. The first thing I saw was the students scattered everywhere. Someone is hanging out in the alley, in the hallway, and the gazebo that we just see here.

I was even more excited to see their Gym and soccerfield. My friends really had fun. Eight AM with thirty minutes left we passed the alley when the speakers attached to the upper part of each corner of the school rang.    

It's Sir Fuentes of Engineering.I am here to announce that our final class will begin tomorrow.So as for today consider it to roam around and  enjoy!

"Wow! Kung ganoon free tayo today! Mas mahaba ang oras natin mamasyal". Hinila ni Jen ang kamay namin ni Kylie at hinila sa kung saan.

 I was overwhelmed when someone  ran into me who was also in a hurry. With his size and impact, my ass fell to the floor! What the fuck!

 "Tangina!" mura ni Kylie dahil sa gulat. Tiningnan niya ng masama ang nakabangga sa akin.  

"Hey! Look at what you're going through!" Jenn shouted but her mouth immediately closed and her eyes widened even more. So even though I was in pain I still looked at the man who hit me. Damn shit! He's the one on facebook! The Montemayor !

I looked at his face. He's staring at me coldly. I've never encountered someone before with this aura.So cold and intimidating.But God! Very handsome even though it looks stuck as if no one knows around.

 Tumindig ang balahibo ko ng yumuko siya at hinawakan ako sa braso para makatayo.Kumalabog ang aking  puso sa hawak niya. Langhap ko ang bango niya. So simple and manly.

I frowned a bit because my waist and ass were a bit sore. I heard whispers all around. Gosh! what a scenario of my first fucking day in college.

"It's not my fault. He does not look where he is going. "

Sagot nito kay Kylie.Halos manlamig ako sa walang emosyon.Hindi naman makapag react sa isang tabi sila ni Kylie at Jen. Narinig ko lang sila na nagmumura.I tried to act normal kahit na ang puso ko tila abnormal na ang pintig.

"I'm sorry! Kasalanan ko nga," I apologized.

"Next time, don't be a fool," He said as if in an annoyed voice. But suddenly someone came in and hit the man who hit me on the shoulder. He didn't seem surprised at all. He seemed to know very well what was going to happen.

 "Don't be so rude Damon," He said in an emotionless voice and cold of the man who just interjected. There were also two men next. Fuck! Is it a beauty contest? 

 Halos nakanganga sila Kylie at Jen.Hindi ko alam ang irereact ko.  Ano nga ba ang gagawin ko?  

"Wala akong oras sayo Sebastian." Tila bagot itong nagsalita na si Damon daw at tumalikod agad at umalis.  Hindi ako mahilig mang puri pero ngayon,parang araw araw akong makakapuri nito.

The boy name Sebastian chuckled. I look away when he shifted his gaze at me.
