Chapter 37

Kiara:

“Someone is being a naughty girl” I said softly to Tatia who peed on her maid. Tatia looked at me with wide eyes and I nodded at the maid to walk out, I would be handling her changing. The maid walked out of the nursery and closed the door, leaving me alone with the little baby girl who had made a mess out of the place. But I didn’t personally mind, she was barely an infant, as long as she was okay, everything else didn’t matter.

It was funny how attached I got to the little baby. Her beautiful blue eyes which I knew might eventually darken looked into my green ones, and for a second it was like she could see through me. Her eyes studying my expression and not leaving my face. A small smile formed on my lips as I looked down at the little child. I remember mum telling me that babies could see angels, it was when I had asked her why children used to laugh when they were on their own.

It’s been two days since the men have left.
