Edith's incarceration wasn't much of a hassle. She was found guilty of accepting bribery, treason, and attempted murder. After learning about her treachery, we made it a priority to survey all the omegas we had employed in the packhouse in addition to checking the activities of the warriors. Although Michael was gone and the stormy clouds hanging over us had subsided, we didn't want to have any traitors working with us.

It didn't take much time for the injured warriors to heal and rejoin the army. As for me, the wound on my forehead healed in no time. However, Gavin didn't take it easy until the doctors ruled out any health issues. After a thorough investigation, it was determined that I was out of danger. The silver's poison hadn't percolated into my bloodstream, thanks to the rapid medical attention I received.
