19: Invitation

I could feel the cold breeze hitting on my open skin, making me hug myself in cold. I then looked up at the sky with my lips curved a little. There are lots of stars above the dark sky and I swear, they look so beautiful. It makes me want to stare at them all the time, all over my life and I will never get tired of doing that.

I then let out a sigh, making some smoke to get out of my mouth. It is really cold especially since I am outside the hotel building and am walking around to enjoy myself with the view of the place. This place is addicting and maybe I will go back here when I got to have time. And oh, by tomorrow, I will come back here to take pictures with a clear and light sky.

"How are you there, Mom and Dad?" I asked and stopped on a bench in the park. I know my parents are there, looking down at me. I know that they see me and they were hearing me. "I miss you two."

I am now smiling, a better one. I just want to shed tears just by knowing that I am living alone now, without them. I just miss my parents so bad and I want them here back. But then, I can not bring the time back. All I just can do is to have justice and get what I and my parents deserve. I do not want to fail them, never.

I then closed my eyes, head still up, when a cold air passed through my face. My hair even flow with the wind and it feel so refreshing, it was like a restart of life. "I wish you two are here," I said in a monotone, a voice crept in sadness.

I just spend my time there, staring at the sky and watching people s through my area. I then went to convenience to buy cup noodles. I mean, I am not hungry but I just want to keep myself hot. It is very cold and I needed to heat up.

I went back to my seat with a cup of noodles in my hand. I then started to eat. Then, while chewing the noodle, I felt my phone inside my pocket vibrating. I quickly get it and saw that it was Kiel calling. I quickly answered the call.

"Hello -"

"Where the hell are you again, Talia?"

My eyes widened because he sounded like a mad tiger. "Why? I am here outside, taking my dinner."

"You should not have left. You are so irresponsible!"

"Why? What happened?"

I heard him sigh from the other line. "Nothing."

"Oh, wow. Nothing? Why do you react that way?"

"Nothing. By the way, Sandoval has left."

"Alright, but did not you bring her to your room?"

"Why would I?" he sounded annoyed.

"To fuck her?"

He did not answer and just simply ended the call. I just hissed and already went up. I walked back inside the hotel with the food with me. I eat while I am on my way. I almost even bump against someone because I did not notice a man in my way.

"I am sorry," I said as an apology and the hoodie guy just nodded his head, not looking at me, and just continued to walk away as if nothing happened. I shrugged my shoulders off and went to my floor.

Before I could enter, someone just grabbed my shoulders and made me lean against the wall. My eyes widened because the cup noodles has almost fallen to the floor! What the hell is wrong with this man?! "What?" I looked at Kiel, annoyed.

"Why are you just wandering around like you have no work?"

I bit my lower lip while he was hovering down over me. His face is just an inch away from me and I could feel his heavy breaths. And wait, his eyes were raging in anger! Is he that mad just because I went out to buy some noodles?

"I just bought this," I said and showed him the food I am holding. He then clenched his jaw and his eyes darkened. "What the hell is wrong with you, man? Did I do something -"

"Yes," he cut me off. "You should have stayed around me!"

"Why?" I sounded so annoyed because he is really mad like a predator and I am his prey. "You mad because you did not have the chance to bring Ma'am Sandoval on the bed? You need my help?"

"For fuck's sake, Talia. I am just worried!"

I blinked in surprise. "Worried? About what?"

"About you, okay? This is not a safe place for you to wander around. What if someone will just appear and hurt you? Think of yourself, can you?"

I was stunned for a moment in disbelief. Is this guy a real one? Does he know what he is saying? "Why would you care about me?"

"Because you went here for work. I am your boss and if something bad might happen to you, I am the one responsible."

I bit my lower lip and shook my head. "Don't worry. I am fine."

He sighed. "I know."

"But hey, did Miss Sandoval like you?" I asked all of a sudden. I want to talk to him and just like what is planned, I will get closer to him for me to get important information from his twin brother, Hanz Xiro Ramirez.

"Why are you talking about her?" he went away from me and hissed with a shake of his head. I let out a small laugh, making him raise his left brow.

"Because I thought you will fuck her -"

"Shut that. I did not like her thing. She is not my type."

My mouth formed an "o". "What is your type, then?"

He just hissed and did not answer, again. He just simply turned his back against me and went to his room. I don't know what came to my mind and I followed him inside. "DO not follow me."

"Are you taking dinner?" I asked him, not minding his remarks.

"I am full."

"But I am not."

"And? That is not my problem anymore."

"I mean, I will be cooking for you, right? I will cook here and will also take my dinner inside this unit. Don't you mind?"

He stared at me for a moment, trying to figure out if I am serious or not. But he ended up nodding his head once. "Yeah."

I smiled in triumph. I then went to his kitchen and put the cup of noodles on the counter. I just cook simple food. While I am facing the oven, I glance at what Kiel is doing. He is facing his laptop in the living room, sitting on a sofa, and again, he is just wearing his boxers, nothing more.

I shook my head and even laughed at myself mentally because I have taught to seduce him. I mean, what is wrong with that when I planned to get close to him and get his attention? This is all of my plans.

I looked at Kiel and sighed. "Hey," I called him, making him look at me.

He raised his brows. "What?"

"Mind having sex with me?"
