26: Someday

"I can't believe you!"

"Hey, Tal! I am serious, come on!"

I walked away from Kiel out of annoyance. What did he just say? He will prove himself to me and he will court me? Does he want to be my suitor? What the hell, dude. A CEO and a billion heir want to court a woman like me? I am just nothing but his secretary! I do not have a perfect life — I lack income and I do not have enough money that is why I am forced to be his secretary for me to earn and live life! And he will just be this? Our stand in this world is different. And knowing that he wants to court me makes me see myself as nothing but trash. I am getting less of myself.

"Shut up, Kiel!" I yelled back and went to the restroom to hide. I leaned against the door and looked up, closing my eyes. Gosh! I can not believe this! He is insane and is unbelievable! I will punch his face off. I am annoyed, nervous, yet thrilled at the same time. Excitement? Nah ah, I am fucking nervous! Not to positive excitement because it will lead me to danger.

I heard him laugh from outside which made me blush. I just covered my face even though he was not here for him to see my fucking reaction. "We're not kids anymore, Tal. What is wrong? I am serious about that. I will court you because I like you. Come on. I do not call that just fucking."

"If not, then what?"

"I can not say that making love as well since we are not mutual. For us to call that make love, then you should let me court you, love you, until you fall for me."

I bit my lower lip in disbelief. Really, huh? "You know that I am just your sec —"

"That is not just, Talia. You are my secretary. What is wrong with that?"

"The gap, Kiel," I said. "I am your secretary and you are the boss here. I am getting small of myself. You are so rich while me? I struggle to live. It is getting hard to get through this."

"Just like what I told you, Talia. Be mine and you will be the boss between us."

"Why are you saying this?"

"Because I like you! Haven't I mentioned that lately?"

"Why do you like me?" I asked again. I want assurance and I just cannot believe him just that.

"Because you are rare and you make my heart beat loud."

I bit my lower lip harshly and let out a heavy sigh. I make his heartbeats like in a racing? Why is that? I did nothing to him. Maybe that is when the person you like is near you and you just get nervous by your heartbeats. My knees started to shake, feeling so weak because of his remarks.

"Are you sure about that?"

"Sure than everything," he said with confidence.

"Alright," I said and get off from leaning. "I will let you court me. You are now my suitor, Kiel."

I opened the door of the restroom and was shocked when I saw that he was already in front of me. I just found myself being kissed by him. He claimed my lips as he owned me. I could feel the passion in the way he kiss me and is thankful at the same time.

"My chest is about to explode," he whispered as he let go of my lips. He then hugged me tightly, making me feel the tug in his chest. He really is right. His heart is beating so loud and I cannot deny that it sent euphoria into my system. He really likes me, huh? Well, not love, yet.

"You are so happy," I said while laughing and tapping his back. "Get off now. You are to court me and you can not touch me again, yet."

He froze for a moment before he looked at me with horror. "You are kidding, right?"

"I am not."

"I need you, Talia."

"This is my body and you are my suitor."

He sighed in the end. "Alright. I respect you."

"Will you find another woman to give yourself your needs?" I squinted my eyes at him which made him laugh, he then bit his lower lip.

"No, I will not. I will wait for you to say yes to me, and then, that's it. That will be so thrilling."

I smiled at him teasingly before I walk off in front of him. I could feel his stares following my move. Just by feeling his gaze, it was like I am slowly burning on fire.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"I will eat first before I will go back to my room."

"We'll have a date later."

I nodded my head. "Yeah, that is already noted."

"Thanks, then. Anyway, the food is on the table."

I looked at him. "You cooked, again?"

"Yup, what's the matter?"

"Nothing," I smiled. "Thank you."

I then went to the table and saw the food there, well arranged. I started to eat while he went back to face his laptop for work. I chewed my food slowly and stared at his back that is facing my area. He looks so good when he is in his serious and dark expression.

I then shook my head when my purpose came to my mind. I am not here to flirt and fall for him. I am just here to use him, to ask important about his twin brother. I am here for justice of death, not justice of love. What the fuck am I doing?

I will not let this man be a hindrance to my plan. Instead, I will make him the way for me to reach my goal here. I will not let him ruin my wants to get the justice I wanted to have since day one.

"Are you fine?" Kiel asked the same question when he noticed me looking at him. "Did I do something wrong, Tal?"

"Nah," I just shook my head and persisted in eating. He nodded his head on the other hand with an awkward expression, not convinced of my answer. I can not tell him the truth. though.

I know I will just hurt him someday.
