"Hello, dad?" Chloe picked up the call which rang as soon as she came out of the room.
"Chloe, it's me." Came a feminine voice which was mixed with tension and panic. She immediately recognised the voice and she frowned in confusion and worry, hearing the tension.
"Mom? Why are you calling from dad's phone? And are you okay? Why do you sound so worried?" Chloe asked hurriedly as her heart started to beat loudly in anticipation. She didn't have a good feeling about it.
"Nothing is okay, Chloe. Please come here. Fast. I need you. Your father needs you." Chloe's mother almost cried while requesting her to come.
"Okay, mom. Calm down. I am coming home in twenty minutes. Calm down." She said with a frown as she pressed on the elevator button which was going up till now, started going down.
