Amber woke up with only the light coming from the night lamp on the side table made the room somehow bright.

She glanced at the clock on the wall and found out that it was already five in the morning. She then sat up on the bed and looked beside her. She saw Matthias, sleeping peacefully like an infant. She could even hear his soft snore.

"How can he look so good even when sleeping?" she mumbled to herself.

Good thing her body didn't feel numb unlike the first time. She was so tired last night that she immediately fell asleep after one round.

As she was about to get off the bed, a hand suddenly grabbed her hand, causing her to lay down beside Matthias again. That was when she found out that Matthias was already awake.

"Trying to run away again?" he asked while directly looking at Amber.

"H-Huh?"

"You can't just run away from me. You will only do something if I tell you to do it."
