Chapter 12

Sarah..

My whole body made a little kind of strange movement when he said that. I was still so scared of the media. Nevertheless, something made me happy and I couldn't figure out if it was to pay back Clark, or it was because the marriage was something I was desperately waiting for.

"You think it's time?" I asked.

He clicked his tongue at first, waiting for a long second before replying

"You want to get things done as soon as possible, right?'' he asked.

I nodded my head in agreement, but why couldn't I tell him about what I heard and found out about Clark. Why the hell am I so scared?

"Yes, I do."

Then, he smiled again, crossing his right leg against the other. I watched him scan through his wristwatch,

"It's late, go to bed now. Tomorrow might just be a long day."

"Goodnight." I said, just as he stood up to leave the room, but I got no reply from him.

Like a cold dice, he just walked away, closing the door behind himself.
