“ My ex-boyfriend. ” Hazel sniffled and whispered out to Tobias softly.

Tobias's expressions darkened and he pulled his hand away from her cheek. He convinced himself hard that it was not his problem. He did not need to feel so angry at the person he did not even know.

But the marks on Hazel's face said it all. He was an asshole.

Sighing internally, Tobias stepped back from Hazel who was about to cry. He did not need to interfere in her matters. They only had a professional relation.
